It would be one thing if they immediately came together, discussed the illegal formation, and then threw the flag. But the fact that it took them a minute, with two separate huddles, to throw the flag and then make the call is egregious.

They threw that flag a full ****ing minute after the TD on the field was called. The home cooking must taste better because that's what the Refs did there.

They said that Goff went in motion, but essentially had to delay first because he started under center when the ball was snapped. So they called the TD back because Goff didn't delay or something. They also apparently reviewed the play, but I don't think an illegal formation is a reviewable penalty. I don't know if I'm explaining it correctly, it's convoluted

I expect a loss tonight. We have our starting LT our, our backup LT out, 3 three top defensive linemen out, and almost our entire starting secondary. These injuries piling up are starting to make it feel like last season. Combine that with the fact that The Chiefs will be playing with their backs to the wall and desperate, I do think they win tonight and we lose. A loss to an AFC team isn't that harmful as it won't hurt us as much for playoff seeding. I'd love for us to win, but I really just want to get out of KC without any major injuries and get back at it, with a healthier team, next week and beyond.
