I think they are butt ugly uniforms. I like the Cardinals classic uniforms with the red jersey.

That Jaguars team had Blake Bortles as their starting QB and half the offensive talent we have. Their best weapons on offense were Allen Hurns and Mercedes Lewis. This team has more offensive talent than they had. I don't fear we're turning into the 2014 Jags. I do fear, at least a little bit, that teams are figuring out Ben Johnson's offense and would like to see the playcalling mixed up and the return of Sam LaPorta to the scheme.

The Broncos are beating up on the Buccaneers, a team we just went out and lost to. Yeeesh.

Wow I can't believe what Oklahoma is doing. Tennessee is doing everything they can to keep Oklahoma in it and they're crapping the bed. They get the ball back twice after a turnover and immediately turn it back over to Tennessee.

What a comeback today. I was convinced they were going to be run off the field Miller Moss and USC's offense. But they went out and played bully ball with USC's defensive line and ran it down their throat all game long. Michigan's identity has been to dominate at the line of scrimmage and just wear other teams out over a 4 quarter game. It worked exceedingly well tonight.

I don't know where that offense was and that run game was in the first three games. They haven't controlled the line of scrimmage like that all season. Keep it to boys!

3 and out on a drive that should have at least started in field goal range. This offense is plain bad.

I hope that shove that resulted in a 15 yard penalty was worth it. I hope that kid enjoyed and remembers this moment like he was hoisting the national championship trophy. God do I hate stupid penalties like that.

I said it was a mistake then and it turns out to still be a mistake now. Striking is a fundamental right and a fundamental tool of the working class to stand up against the ultra wealthy and powerful. Biden and many Democrats union-busted these railroad workers. They should have either been given the contract they demanded or been allowed to strike. It doesn't matter if the entire country has to shutdown, short of EMS and Police service, every union employee deserves the right to strike.

It's been a really good offseason so far for Stevie Y and the Wings organization. Getting Raymond for 8 years @ $8.1 million and Seider for 7 years @ $8.55 million are both deals that are right about where they should be. Getting Raymond and Seider both signed to very reasonable deals in the matter a week is fantastic news. Yzerman didn't end up massively overpaying for his own players either like Kenny would have. Raymond and Mo are two of our foundational pieces that will help us bring Lord Stanley back to Detroit. Having two foundational talents like the locked up and ready to go for the next 5+ years is great. Now there are no more excuses. It's time to step up and compete with the big boy teams in the NHL. Would it be nice to have one of our foundational pieces be a playmaking center, capable of producing 90+ points a season? Sure, who wouldn't want that. But draft lottery luck didn't fall our way in the right years and Kenny left the cupboard bear when he skipped town. As I said in an earlier post though, because we don't have that game changing center, I think this teams path to a Cup much more reflects the style of a Vegas Golden Knights or St. Louis Blues from a few years back. It's been a very productive, solid offseason from the Wings. It's now time for Yzerm and and Lalonde to field a winning product and not only make the playoffs, but starting making a run when we get there.
