you're probably right; and there's a decent chance that Vierling, Maton, McKinstry, Ibanez, Kriedler or any of the other guys at Toledo offer the same production as a Whit Merrifield or Ursula. but I will also argue that any one year guy would really not block anyone. there are some good options. Kyle Farmer bats RH and plays good D at three spots; surprised the Twins tendered him a contract; he would have been a good one year guy.
