  1. And the multiple supervisors too? And the lt? And the commander and the chief as quoted in the story? And our own eyes All of them got it wrong?
  2. No, the police determined he was celebrity and released him. Police misconduct is the definition of news.
  3. You need a permit to carry a concealed weapon. By keeping it loaded under a seat, he is in violation.
  4. it's the middle one and its strictly enforced because without it, you dont know when something was prescribed. Anybody can say whatever date they want if they get popped. Falsifying medical records happens all the time in the US
  5. not to be confused with KL2
  6. They use to start mid week but led to too many series ending on weekends
  7. We signed Maeda last year. He gave us nothing. We still made the playoffs. Now is not the time for 'known quanity type' but guys who if healthy can push on upward. If they get hurt again, oh well same boat. You can sign a couple pitchers for a total of 40-50 million. Sign a reliever for 8 or so and trade for the bat (cause there are few in the market) and your really only seeing the payroll rise by 30-40 million next season
  8. Yep and missed the playoffs cause of that loss. Fired Caldwell and Hired Tubby McGoo
  9. You can't be scared of free agents because of a past experience. If that was the case we'd never had made a trade after juan gone.
  10. Trust me i understand these concepts better than anyone else here. Twas explaining why "fair is fair" isn't fair. If the original person isn't charging for thr info why should a secondary company charge and profit off of it?
  11. To be fair very little is original reporting by them why should you pay cause they read nightgale's twitter?
  12. You sure you know how contracts work? they aren't renegotiated every year. And guys top the old guys, look at patrick Mahomes. $450 million contract, 13th highest QB cap hit. Cap goes up but a two year old contract does not.
  13. why? the cap basically doesnt exist anymore
  14. Production meetings aren't the ones u are referring to. Those are in house of course he can do that. It's the ones on air staff and producers meet with team coaches and key players. They are vital. It's why you here color guys say things like coach xyz said they would try to feed the ball to the rb today. They create a well rounded broadcast that has depth and context. Missing on them is a huge deal.
  15. What's Ansah doing nowadays?
  16. I admit it's probably blinded by hope, but while everything you say is true, the problem is the raiders roster is awful. They have like two useful pieces out of 22. They don't have enough a qb, eb, wr, standout defender (outside crosby) or much on the line. Right now they are among 13 teams with two loses or fewer and 10 of em need qbs. Someone is gonna be left out. So by keeping crosby they are hoping to be one of the three teams to get high enough to get a qb. Or they are bringing in another crap vet and putting on the year again. Either way, next year is toast so now your heading into 2026 with still a need of talent but now you got crosby nearly 30 and on his last year. Each passing year his value goes down. Now the other option is to trade crosby for 3 or 4 picks over the next two years, all probably top 100. So now you got the ammo to add more talent faster or use some combo of those picks with your own to move up to get that qb you've been searching for for thr last 50 years While max might be homegrown keeping him, given all the circumstances might not be a good idea for the raiders.
  17. Ok not sure what that has to deal with you calling him a "quick fix"
  18. Don't think Maxx qualifies as a "quick fix" pro bowl type of players, under contract for next season and from the area.
  19. They are unlikely to get a top 10 pick for him because those teams are not close to sell the farm. And late firsts are valuable to a team that is rebuilding. Think of how we did with Stafford. You can stand pat and draft a guy at 30 and get a 5th year of control, you can move up either with your top pick and get to one or two or use 30 and a 2econd wounder to get to 16, you can move back in an early second and pick up more picks for yourself. The pick offers a lot of flexibility which most go's crave
  20. Hell at this point you just pray he comes back close to the same player
  21. There is zero chance, less than zero actually, your gonna get bregman out of Houston for 3 years unless your paying him about 80 million per season.
  22. Clark is at least one and half years away, wouldn't worry about making room for him. And you don't get better by trading your best player. Selling high on Riley, would hope to net you another Riley. We already have him and he's cost controlled. Goal now is to win not take a step back.
