  1. I don’t think he was touching Jeudy as he was making the interception.
  2. The Browns base defense is just “they can’t call every penalty”
  3. The Arnold PI in the Ravens game was a joke too.
  4. That wasn’t a catch.
  5. Interestingly, he’s one of those guys that all you need to do is see his face and you already know what number he’ll be wearing. We all knew the kid who wanted that number and most of the time he looked like Ratledge.
  6. Jerry Jones: If we can trade Packers’ picks for a “really special” player, we’ll do it This ancient nepo-baby is crazy. Those picks aren’t even enough to get someone like Parsons, let a lot a “really special” player.
  7. Other side of the ball, “The Lions, though, got after Jackson, who had been sacked seven times only twice before in his career.”
  8. We could still trade Hitch for a run stuffer and some firsts!
  9. As for my complaints about Morton. I’m told that this offense is good because of the players, not the OC so he gets no credit for: “The Lions scored on drives of 98 and 96 yards. The Ravens, who were missing Pro Bowl defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike, had not allowed a drive of 95 yards or more since 2001.” The play selection to close out the half was objective bad.
  10. Exactly. I’m asking for accountability. When I see the Lions commit a penalty I want it called. Period. I want the same for them. So why call the hands to the face/dacemask there? If they are going to selectively enforce the rules then there really should be a reasonable explanation of what they will and won’t call. For example that penalty had no impact of the play. The hold on Anzalone earlier in the game helped Lamar extend the play without pressure and complete a long 3rd down pass, keeping the drive alive and eventually score. What I want to know is why the defender directly in front of the referee whose job it is to watch for that hold decided not to call a hold that turned the player sideways. That’s all. Why call one penalty to kill a drive and ignore another? I’ll die on the hill of every, “not completing the catch” ruling after Calvin Johnson was robbed in Chicago. They set the precedent and I just wanted every catch after to be officiated the same way. Once you accepted the rule it wasn’t difficult to see. Dez did not complete the process no matter how many Cowboys fans scream. That was the rule. Period.
  11. It's not that the Lions didn't commit the penalty, it's the selective enforcement of offensive penalties based on the QB and not the actual degree that the penalty affected the play.
  12. Now they throw flags on offensive penalties. Weird.
  13. I have no illusions that I can call plays. If Morton really calls plays like that then maybe he can’t too. Difference is I’m not trying to be an offensive coordinator.
  14. Just take a knee if you are going to throw 3 yards. Our genius OC is outsmarting everyone with this series.
  15. He literally watched that ball the entire way. Arnold sucks, but not on that play.
  16. That block on Hutch was called a hold on the punt.
  17. And then that as a PI, get out of here.
  18. I wish they call a hold on the Ravens OL. But instead it’s just our punt team that is being watched.
  19. That’s still the single greatest touchdown celebration of all time.
  20. “For now, last night’s outcome reinforces one critical fact regarding the McDaniel era. Via ESPN, the Dolphins under McDaniel are 25-12 against teams that enter a game at .500 or worse. Against teams that enter a game with a winning record, Miami is 3-14.”
