I would almost guarantee they are not going 'all-in' on 2026. The entire ethos is about sustainability and long term success. What I want to see them do is make some baseball trades and improve their pitching depth.
Morton is a polished version of Paddack..he throws hard and misses bats. But he still can’t locate consistently and gives up ev bombs just the same. Hinch has had enough of it so he is done.
If they get good run prevention, they will have a chance in most games because the offense is pretty good. If not, they will exit early in the playoffs.
This is basically extended spring training. They're trying to find a few answers with starting pitching....thus far, everyone aside from Skubal and Flaherty(every other start) has been unplayable.
We need to watch other teams. The tigers are about as flawed as every other good team. They need to keep their stars healthy and hope they get some luck.
