Tigers option Alex Faedo to Toledo to open roster spot for Michael Pineda. Tigers watching innings with Faedo in return from Tommy John surgery. He’ll return as 27th player to start in Monday doubleheader vs. Cleveland, and again in July 11 doubleheader at KC.

Schoop is a sunk cost and won't be here when the team is decent. Pay him his $ 7 mill for 2023 and give Clemens a shot. I'm done with these useless vets.

With Tork, they don't think sending him down will resolve anything. He has to figure it out against major league pitching.

Nothing about the offense fits lol. Greene, Cabrera, willi, and candy have two hits each. Tork, Baez, and schoop leave 10 men on base.

Skubal above 70 pitches and hasn't recorded 9 outs. Rodon at 39 through 3.

he has to fix his marital problems first...then probably a stint at Lakeland to start throwing, then a few real rehab stars. Once he is available, it should take 3 weeks minimum to get back.

The ability to assess the talent on your own roster is part of the general manager's job. If you waste playing time on guys you traded for, that's a problem.

I'd put him on the same level as Matt Manning...meaning I don't expect to see him this season unless there is some kind of miraculous recovery.

Rony Garcia is the only starter who has pitched into the sixth inning since last Saturday. He has done it twice. That’s going to take a toll on the bullpen.

Jeimer's walk rate has dropped from 10% to 5%, his wRC+ has also dropped by half. He is playing himself off the roster and he will be 29 by November.

None of these guys are long term solutions to any problems.

Harold Castro isn't much better of course even with that single. He has a .553 OPS in June. 3 XBH in 61 at-bats.
