Had a manager at TGI Fridays of all places who liked to talk about the beach ball analogy when discussing perception. if you hold it in place and put it next to your face...it's one color. If you step back and look at it while turning it slowly, you see it's a lot of colors. If you spin it really quickly...it's tough to tell what it is. Judging an offense single play..set of downs..qtr or even half of football is pointless. Look at the whole game..or season before judging. Donovan Edwards sucked in the first half against OSU. Tore them up in the 2nd half and became a fricking legend

Speaking of skilled up front...that pass Veleno made late in the third into the slot that got banged off the post by,,,Compher...maybe...was possibly the pass of the night. There's a noticeable difference in our depth this season..and we play with a bit more of an edge. REALLY looking forward to that Ottawa game this Saturday. We'll see how much running around Tkaczuk does with Kostin, Ras and Fischer out there

Winners...they achieved the goal of a Super Bowl...but does their result impact ours? We have the ideal QB for our offense and we got two 1sts. After a few years of performance...Goff for Stafford looks like a pretty fair swap even up. That we got two extra 1sts out of the deal is a huge windfall for us. I don't really care what LA did I look at the impact for us...and the impact for us has been pretty significant

I would definitely not be counting on Turnbull to start. I would go into 2024 assuming he's a long RP...if he makes it through camp healthy. I think Faedo and Brieske are going to be key pieces in the bull pen

Copp is looking a touch quicker this year. Some excellent passing from Veleno...he looked good last night as the 3C. That goal by Ras really showed his strength and reach. Columbus has some nice players...don't seem to be meshing well

The Lions have a lot more wide open receivers under Johnson than they have at any point in my recent memory. Like most QB's...Goff is deadly when he can set his feet and make a throw without someone in his face. Goff does a great job of understanding where that receiver is or will be..before the defense has a chance to react and make the play. Goff has also improved tremendously on his deep throws. Goff, Johnson and Campbell really have things going well right now

Is Malloy worse than Delmon was? Because he seems to have a better bat...potentially. Although Delmon's "potential" suggested possible MVP level career...so who knows. Damn...kinda talking in circles here
