Yeah...he doesn't look ready for the NHL physically. If his Jr team is as bad (assuming he isn't dealt by them) as they were last year....he could probably play for GR in the playoffs or maybe even get a look with the Wings if he develops a bit
Connors State must have a robust NIL program....
Guys like this used to go to the NY Penn League or a similar short season circuit. He's probably too far along to be in the FCL...may not be room for him in Lakeland. The Connecticut Tigers were a great place to park college draftees and UDFA's. I think they erred in eliminating that short season A tier
I almost killed a woman who was pitching in a coed league when i was in my 20's...hit a line drive at her, but it kinda curved around her at eye level. It was crossing 2nd base when she got the glove up. No more coed after that
Jobe would not have lasted 15 picks had Al Al not taken him...Noble Meyer isn't as highly rated and he went 10th in a deeper draft.
Jobe needs to be in WM ASAP...he's far too advanced for Lakeland
I like the Anderson pick...seems like a hitter. We'll worry about that position later. Plus...since he's a squat 6-0 215lbs...we can call him The Fat Kid
I'm warming up to the Clark pick...as well as the Anderson pick. He can hit and he bats RH...adds balance to the org. McGonigle could be a steal where we got him...he has a quick compact swing...he could move quickly in the system
In the snippets I've seen...Duren looks really comfortable handling the ball facing the basket. That bounce feed he made to Ausar who then dumped it back to Wiseman was very nice.
I think I'd still have CK at #1 in the top 30 because his power potential is already showing in games...but Clark is a CF with speed and a plus hit...so I could see the argument
Tigers pick 3rd...there are three players that are above the rest of the field and they're presumably close to MLB ready. Deviating from those guys would be F**k up a free lunch level of dumb
