  1. I'm actually pretty high on Stewart and I don't think Stewart and Duren really fit well together. Still, everybody seems to love Duren so I'm good with it. All I can think about with Duren is how everybody compared him to Webber when he was in high school.
  2. I typed in Duren's name on google and one tweet has him being traded to the Pistons and another tweet has him being traded to the Knicks.
  3. I just looked at Ayton's stats last year and I will say the fact he averaged less than a block per game is pretty disappointing.
  4. Ayton all the way for me. The fact is we have to spend our money somewhere eventually so while I don't necessarily like breaking the bank for Ayton, that is the reality of the NBA.
  5. Pistons are going to get an A from everybody for this pick. I do think the bust potential for Ivey is higher than you would like at #5 but I still like his fit next to Cade and Saddiq.
  6. Well, after the last 8 months of speculation about Ivey, he's actually going to be a Piston.
  7. That's what we get for making fun of the Kings franchise the past month.
  8. Wonder if this screws up the Pistons plans to replace Grant with Murray.
  9. Did Ivey refuse to work out for Sacremento? If he did, it looks like he got his wish to avoid Sacremento.
  10. The best part about getting Ivey if we do draft him may be that Hayes will no longer be a starter for us.
  11. Crap...I wanted Murray. Still will be excited with Mathurin or Ivey though.
  12. If Banchero goes #1, pretty much every tweet the past few days claiming to have some inside info goes out the door. Proves that what teams are leaking is often horse sh*t.
  13. The Pistons could just be talking Mathurin up because they like Murray. I’d still guess Murray before Mathurin but confidence level is low. There were reports claiming the Lions would possibly pass on Hutch for Thibodeaux as the draft got really close. It’s not unheard of for teams to try and put out misdirection.
  14. I just think it’s poor judgement not to have some kind of clause to net a future first rounder if that pick ends up in the top 4.
  15. Would the pick get bumped to a later year at least? I have never heard of a team trading for a pick that could just totally be forfeited.
  16. I agree. It seems like he is starting to swing at more pitches, which is a step in the right direction.
  17. That was my first thought as well. But with the three homers tonight, he now has 12 for the year between AAA and the big leagues. That's an improvement over what we are getting, which is low obp and low power.
  18. He wasn't. But Candelario was the biggest reason for that. Now all the sudden Candelario looks completely lost. There is some bad luck involved there too.
  19. I know Greene beat the shift last night with a hit. Boston was not shifting there. He's pulled two tonight already.
  20. Not sure if there is a hitter in baseball that scares me more than Devers. Great play by Greene.
  21. Agree about the skyline. I think it's one of the best in baseball. Even with the parking garage that detracts from it a bit IMO. The conversation about the sun detracting from the stadium is definitely relevant. I only go to one game a year but it is usually a day game and we always are careful about where we buy tickets.
  22. Rich Hill looks bad. Any decent lineup would be putting a lot more pressure on him.
  23. Yeah...that first inning was not as bad as the pitch count would you lead you to believe.
  24. Candelario at bats are just as poor as they were before the injury. I'm really getting concerned that any promise he showed in 2020 and 2021 is not going to show itself again.
  25. It felt like a much better inning that what Faedo pitched yesterday. Some bad luck and really good hitting by Boston.
