I'm actually pretty high on Stewart and I don't think Stewart and Duren really fit well together. Still, everybody seems to love Duren so I'm good with it.
All I can think about with Duren is how everybody compared him to Webber when he was in high school.
Ayton all the way for me. The fact is we have to spend our money somewhere eventually so while I don't necessarily like breaking the bank for Ayton, that is the reality of the NBA.
Pistons are going to get an A from everybody for this pick. I do think the bust potential for Ivey is higher than you would like at #5 but I still like his fit next to Cade and Saddiq.
If Banchero goes #1, pretty much every tweet the past few days claiming to have some inside info goes out the door. Proves that what teams are leaking is often horse sh*t.
The Pistons could just be talking Mathurin up because they like Murray. I’d still guess Murray before Mathurin but confidence level is low.
There were reports claiming the Lions would possibly pass on Hutch for Thibodeaux as the draft got really close. It’s not unheard of for teams to try and put out misdirection.
That was my first thought as well. But with the three homers tonight, he now has 12 for the year between AAA and the big leagues. That's an improvement over what we are getting, which is low obp and low power.
He wasn't. But Candelario was the biggest reason for that. Now all the sudden Candelario looks completely lost. There is some bad luck involved there too.
Agree about the skyline. I think it's one of the best in baseball. Even with the parking garage that detracts from it a bit IMO.
The conversation about the sun detracting from the stadium is definitely relevant. I only go to one game a year but it is usually a day game and we always are careful about where we buy tickets.
Candelario at bats are just as poor as they were before the injury. I'm really getting concerned that any promise he showed in 2020 and 2021 is not going to show itself again.
