    Because journalists suck. You don't acquire the check mark for the display name, you get it for the account name which is @elonmusk. But your display name could always be changed to anything you want as often as you wanted. Musk himself has changed his display name quite a few times. He had Elona Musk at one point for some reason. Here is a screenshot with him showing as Lorde Edge. I don't think Lorde Edge was verified.

    The Nets are running a business and even for all of his headaches, Kyrie is still an asset. An asset they can't replace if they cut him because they would still be over the cap. So you hold onto him and hope he turns things around and possibly bring him back next year on his Bird rights. Or hope a team gets really desperate/stupid and gives you 50 cents on the dollar in a trade. Miles Bridges is accused of far worse things than Kyrie and Charlotte still has not cut him.

    People have been doing that for years. You could always change your display name to anything you wanted. The @ part is the one you could never change and still cant.

    The Pelicans have the right to swap places with the Lakers in this year's draft. So if LA does get the #1 pick it would actually go to New Orleans.

    It doesn't really have anything to do with the type of business you are in. Each type of business has a certain pool of employees they draw from. If you pay and treat people better than your competition you will draw the best people from that pool. That should give you a leg up on your competitors. At least on the labor side of things.

    Yeah that is a problem. Basically you have the top 6 picks to the right, minus Chet. Banchero, Smith, Ivey, Mathurin, and Murray. Duren is between the 140-150 mark, Sochan is directly to the right of Duren. Eason straight up above them. Koloko directly to the left of Duren with Sharpe just above them. Above Sharpe is Braun. Above and left of Braun is Nembhard.
