I agree to this action, but in addition, I think we can cease to be consumers of whatever Products/Companies are advertising on their networks. Harder to do, perhaps, but probably more impactful.

If these media/network companies acquiesce because it’s easier to do than pushing back, it becomes every viewer’s responsibility to boycott every damn product that is advertised on that network. This means me. This means you.

i’d kind of like to ask the men on this forum to talk to the women in their family right now. Because I have a feeling that not everyone can appreciate what women are feeling at the moment with this latest killing. Men may say, watching that video and hearing the dialogue that ensued, that they are angry. But I believe at least some women may share with you that what they are is afraid. Angry sure, but women are afraid. Why? Because we have seen that look that that ICE agents had in their eyes when they approached her car. They’ve seen that look sometime in their lives. Because men and women have different reactions. Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. But women are afraid that men will kill them.

So, is Congress going to reassert it’s constitutional authority anytime soon? This has the feel of those smash & grab robberies you see on security cameras at an mall. Except it’s on a national level. With our military. Stealing a country’s oil that doesn’t on any level belong to us. And the whole world is watching us throw the rule of law out the mf-ing window. Sorry ! Could it have been RSV, Ed? I have also read that this year’s flu strain is very severe (& longer in length), and that the flu shot this year is not as mitigating a factor as previous year’s shots were. I’m hoping you recover fully soon.
