I've never seen it and so many have it #1 over The Sopranos and Breaking Bad. I need to watch it.

I'm going to believe it. After his tragedies he deserved a nice happy retirement.

He got on his bike and rode down to Costa Rica and is living out on a full service resort under an assumed name.

What good did guys like Sasse and Flake or even Collins or Murkowski do? They will talk a good game but a vote is still a vote.

I wouldn’t look away. I know Ted has seen them.

I hope they keep up this fight because their bubble and base is shrinking in an actuarial sense. Go ahead.

kind of related. Chatfield was a recipient of this money and he's being investigated for a lot of things regarding finances. He's as evangelical as they come. He also likes young girls. The works.

and my point was that because of the lack of a formal transition that is usually about 10 weeks, such information may not have been shared between the staffs that do not carryover from admin to admin. They condensed things to two weeks after Jan 6. There's a difference between giving someone the benefit of the doubt and just making up hypotheticals.

Your both sides attempts very often consist of comparing something that did happen to something that didn't happen or at best, might have happened.

he likes to pretend we make up things actually said then goes on and makes up things never said and expects us to argue against it as if it were said.

I'm sure during the awesome transition between admins from election day until Jan 20 the topic was discussed. The Trump folks at the Pentagon all seemed like stand up people who would gladly share information with the new guys about embarassing information.

I remember getting a pull out CD player installed at Highland in Dearborn. The store was in one location and the install was out of some alley down the street. I can picture the store. I paced around once deciding whether to spend the $35 for a "Caller ID" box. Of course any Detroit commercial discussion is incomplete without this masterpiece.

I agreed to go see Pink this summer with my wife because Brandi is opening for her.

They give away all the good awards before the show airs. The Grammys are like the super bowl halftime shows. It's not for music fans. It's for mass audiences. You know better than anybody about the commercial side of music and what the real goal is. My wife was watching and she couldn't understand when I told her that the audience shots are scripted. They tell JLo, "Ok, we're going to show you in 4 seconds, do something" so then she'll do a "Whoop" or something. It started because I was criticizing it and she said "Look, they are getting into it". I said that's fake. Like Wrestling. Nobody in that setting is on camera unless they get approval. The superstars are the bosses and they can't make the bosses look bad. That said.... glad to see Brandi Carlyle win and perform and God bless Bonnie Raitt.

I haven't watched Modern Marvels since they changed the format. But i still record them all but most I have seen. I still watch the one on the Mackinaw Bridge, Beer, Whiskey.... those stand out to me as fun. And I like anything related to food and the mass production. "here's how we fill 5 million M&M's a day into these bags!"

I don't recall what happened in which seasons, it all runs together. We stuck with it more like a chore but outside of the Negan backstory episode nothing really stood out to me. The last season or two were definitely the best of the run since the early days. Once the effects of shooting under quarantine and all that wore off they could do it properly.

I think there's a distinct line in that red hat group between the religious fanatics and the "government is nazis and want to kill us" groups. The latter is all in on pot, the former, not so much. The former still wants to ban dancing, stores being open on Sundays, booze, interracial marriage, and of course pot. The latter were the ones growing it. Of course a couple of well placed Supreme Court picks won't care about that. So you might be right.

VH1 was started up kind of as a joke. Ted Turner said he was going into the TV music business and was going to be family friendly and free to the cable providers so at MTV they tasked some people to quickly come up with counter programming on a new channel. They did the same. They actually didn’t want it to succeed in terms of rating’s because it would affect MTV as buys. They put Kenny G on. Then he became huge. Turners station didn’t last long.

Planet Fitness determined $10 was the point at which people tend to stay on. Of course saying “you will go back to the gym” and watching sports is not quite the same but I can see mentally where people let things go at $10 and under.

In the mid 90s on the weekend A&E was the mafia documentary channel.

I don’t know… when my wife’s ICU was filled with COVID patients who didn’t get the vaccine and has yet to be filled with people from side effects by getting the vaccine…. That tells me the vaccine itself is safer than COVID so why not take something that’s cost free and will probably help you if infected. It’s not a guarantee but nothing is. I mean… I’m not going to not invest in stocks because I heard a guy got ripped off. Life is a gamble but it’s up to us to learn the odds. Many of the odds are heavily weighed in your favor. Take them.
