Houston was 1-5 this year at home in the playoffs. I can't believe people left the game early last night. It was game 7. There's no clock in baseball. Sure they had a slim chance to win but why risk seeing the most incredible comeback in playoff history at that point? I know traffic in Houston stucks (Houston is one hour away from Houston) but you spent the money and time, what's an extra few minutes?

Was someone trying to intimidate with this? Or be cute? I really don't think it harmed anyone. It was dumb and careless.

agreed. I think he's done. Very admirable career. Lived up to his contract, rare for a pitcher to do that. I'm glad he was a Tiger. His performance out of the bullpen in 2013 was one of the greatest moments we saw during that 2011-2013 run.

I've been impressed with all the teams so far. Houston just looks like they know they will win. They went into Texas looking like they were up 2-0 instead of down 0-2. Last night Texas could have folded. It looked like Houston was about to take the lead. Arizona hung in there but I think Philly whoops them tonight.

He doesn't seem like their kind of guy but snatch him up, so quickly that some suggest he had overtures with them and that's what led to him being fired. He does what they ask, delivers a winner, then they get rid of him for doing that. It's like fooling around with someone, divorcing your spouse for that person, marrying them, then divorcing them for being someone who fooled around. They knew what they were getting. They got it.

I'm on the Phillie bandwagon. I've morphed into an anti-astros guy. Not because of the cheating or whatever. But they impressed me the way they marched into Arlington like they were up 2-0 instead of down 2-0.

Either way two things can be discussed independently. What Hamas did last week was astrocious and horrible. They started this mess. Arabs/Muslims can cry all they want but when 2 days after these attacks they have rallies with dancing and singing.... not a good look. At all. Now you have all kinds of independent corrobaration on the hospital attack being self inflicted yet so many refuse to believe it and our own members of Congress continuing to propogate the lie.... honestly... shame on them. Their refusal to condem the attacks without adding some kind of qualifier is a disgrace.
