  1. The flip side is that if you don't bleed clock, you could end up settling for a field goal with too much on the clock. The strategy of trying to be the last one to possess the ball at the end is the correct one. It was just poorly executed.
  2. Very possible... As far as the clock management is concerned, 32 seconds with 32 yards to go was actually a good place to be in. Maybe it looks conservative, but when you play a Buffalo, you have to burn as much clock as possible. As they proved in that final drive, if you give them any time at all, they will put it to use.
  3. Would you have preferred they lose by three touchdowns?
  4. The biggest mistake I saw was not taking advantage of 32 seconds being put back on the clock. On a 3rd and 1, you have to go to something more high percentage and try to get it. In general, I didn't mind that they let a lot of time off the clock, but a low percentage throw on 3rd and 1 is not a good strategy imo.
  5. Tony Romo lays out his marker... high praise
  6. Nice sequence for the Lions D there...
  7. Cannot recall a team this bad on 3rd down...
  8. Nobody puts Bebe in the corner.... (except the Lions anyway lol)
  9. FWIW, I almost think Buffalo messed up just as bad by not utilizing their time outs. Seems like they could have gotten further down the field
  10. Spot on. Also, despite some claims that Russia is "winning" this war, it really speaks to the diminishing influence of Russia on the world stage... if Armenia of all countries do not find them to be a reliable partner, then likely nobody will at this point.
  11. Is it me, or does he exhibit the signs of being strung out beyond all belief on meth?
  12. Maybe Ms. Ellis should worry about her own soul....
  13. Serves as a nice reminder that Walker is Dr. Oz with more concussions
  14. IDK, the teeth gnashing about nebulous issues like mental health seems to have more to do with running out the clock on the debate than it does about any sort of belief that the status quo is unacceptable. Otherwise, you'd actually see some action on the things identified as problems versus doing the exact opposite (ie. cutting funding for mental health)
  15. I just wish some would just come out and admit that they don't see it as a problem. It would be enraging, but at least it would be more honest than the "thoughts and prayers" and "it's too soon to talk about it" crap.
  16. Hoy Park is interesting, but would hope they would do a little more than that to fix their hole at 3B
  17. The only way this interview could have been better is if Walker and his handlers were in an actual clown car
  18. Somebody inform Mr. Walker that he can download the PlutoTV app on his Smart TV and watch all the episodes his heart desires.
  19. It definitely could be an environment thing for him.... iirc there were a couple of stretches during 2022 where he was just held out of games for multiple games at a time. Maybe mentally was in the wrong place?
  20. Harris will need to do something to replace Candelario, it would be a failure if absolutely nothing happened. But as far as I'm concerned, the book is closed on Candelario... what he does or doesn't do in someone else's uniform isn't gonna change the fact that the Tigers should not have just tendered him a contract for $7mil because of the risk of getting little or nothing to replace. And if Candelario wasn't gonna accept a lower number from the Tigers (as it was reported the Tigers were seeking), they didn't have much choice but to let him go. That's just never gonna be a failure or a mistake imo.... in a negotiation, you have to be willing to walk away from the table, and that's what he did. I can't fault him for that.
  21. Got it. I'm not of the belief he's necessarily done as well.
  22. Apparently the fact that the White House Press Corps didn't get to attend Naomi Biden's wedding is a scandal?
