  1. Hope they are thinking along those lines in Rounds 4-5 today.
  2. When three people die and many more are injured, you're correct in that it is a "little detail".
  3. His swing is great and mechanically very sound but for the most part he hasn't shown much ability to deviate from that swing in order to put bat-on-ball in key situations. The bloop, go ahead hit he had against the Texas Rangers in the finale of that series was one of the rare times we saw him doing anything of the sort... Maybe some time away will help, we'll see. Mentally, he still seems confident, but that confidence may be part of the problem at this point if it's inhibiting his ability to make adjustments.
  4. Also wonder if the first two picks are a reflection somewhat of their new hires...
  5. Really can't complain about either pick... surprised Graham fell so much
  6. So, does Jace Jung get assigned to Lakeland or West Michigan?
  7. Yep, it frees up one of the bats to fall to 12. Now go watch them pick Brock Porter lol
  8. The Rangers are such an interesting org
  9. Can they take a kneel down to end the half?
  10. Herschel Walker gets all the attention, but Oz is low key running as bad a campaign... he's incapable of not playing into the framing of a carpetbagger opportunist. It almost seems like performance art. But in 2022, he still has a chance unfortunately
  11. The fact that it's .337 with a .400 BA suggests he'd be doing just fine with a normal BABIP lol
  12. I've noticed less Jeff Riger on my SM accounts, guess this explains it lol
  13. I know last year that at one point everyone except Rogers was vaxxed (Jimmie P outed him lol). But there definitely has been a lot of roster churn since then lol
  14. Andrew Benintendi just loss some trade value, one would think
  15. This is right. And as much as people complain about the lack of results from Mize/Manning, this year, the ability to pluck guys out of the minors to fill holes created by various injuries should be noted. There's a good discussion to be had about whether they have drafted too many pitchers in the first round, but the idea that they can just live on acquiring pitchers mostly from other orgs seems unrealistic... Even the successful orgs draft and develop pitching prospects
  16. Is this guy legit?
  17. Not only should it be a black eye for the politicians who called this fake, but also the "journalists" who gave fuel to those claims
  18. Chafin signed here in part due to proximity to his farm in Ohio and seems to place a high premium on that. So I could see him exercising his option after this season despite the issues with the team. The others I agree, but Chafin needs that caveat imo
  19. I get it, but I'm not declaring Jobe a bust yet.
  20. Isn't the bigger problem that you can't get hardly any Republicans to codify?
  21. Good point... do they get Madden or Pacheco if they draft Mayer? I'm not too familiar with the terms of his deal with the Red Sox, but I doubt Mayer would have agreed to an underslot deal That may be a trade some are willing to make. But it is a consideration when looking at the decision to draft Jobe over another player, be it Mayer or Lawlar or whoever.
