So now the government will be shut down over American citizens being executed in the streets in full view of multiple cameras, all with different angles? While MAGA lies and blames the victims? This ends all the talk of shutting down the government over the health care subsidies or shutting it down for the Espstein Files. I say make it a 3 headed shutdown. Insist on defunding ICE, in its current form. Insist on ALL of the Epstein Files being released. And finally, insist on the Health care subsidies to be restored.

5 AM practices, 60 miles away? No thsnks. The teams had to rent the least expensive rinks at the least expensive times. I get it but I'm just glad my son had no interest in it. He played Little League baseball, wrestled and played high school football. That was plenty to keep him (and us) busy...

People have been complaining about player salaries in baseball for over 100 years. And I agree, it's totally crazy. It really, really bums me out that there's a very real possibility that my favorite team is going to lose one of baseball's best pitchers. Tarik Skubal should be a Tiger for life, in a perfect world. But that doesn't mean I want the Tigers to spend $40m (or more) to keep him. That kind of money could really hurt a franchise.

My friend's son played 15-20 years ago so I imagine the price has only gone up. When I was a kid, in the early '70's, our city had an outdoor rink in a local park. There were pickup games every day and night. But back then, there were a lot more kids.

Very good post and it looks like a lot of work. The only thing I could possibly add it that the second round may not be right if any of those players were picked by the expansion teams. And this would pretty much guarantee that Harris would lose his best prospects. A smart expansion team would take the youngest players with the longest team control they could find. I would think Harris may protect some of these young prospects over some veterans with only a couple/few years of team control. The bottom line is...I'm glad we dont have to go thru this...😅😅

My son never had any interest in playing ice hockey but I had a really good friend and his son played. He used to tell me how expensive it was as well as all the very early morning practices.

The talking heads on TV keep saying thank goodness there is/was so many videos of the murders of innocent citizens in Minnesota. And think about it, even with video proof and investigations not even started, the Trump administration officials rushed to judgment to make the victims appear to be the guilty ones. Pure gaslighting. Don't believe what you see with your eyes, just believe this "story." So yes, thank goodness there are videos to show how much multiple people in this totally corrupt administration lie to the American people. And they don't back off the lies, even when pushed they stick to these lies.

Why do they keep calling these Proud Boy thugs "law enforcement?" These criminals aren't law enforcement. There were 4 to 6 of these thugs pounding that innocent man into submission before murdering him in cold blood. He was no longer a threat to them, they had already disarmed him. Not only that, but how many real police would it take to handcuff a suspect after taking away any weapons? A single police officer could accomplish this without ever pulling out a weapon. This was/is a simple case of cold blooded murder. And now the Trump administration is sending in more police, it will be martial law by this evening/tomorrow.
