  1. Why is LaVert in the rotation? He's killing this team. Sit him...
  2. I keep tearing my rotator cuff. Extending my arm to the side and picking anything up is impossible. Picking stuff up from the front is perfectly fine. And I'm told it's just a slight tear, let it heal naturally. Gets better and I re-hurt it. Doctor smiles and blames....getting old. Hey doctor, it's still better than NOT getting old. 🤣🤣🤣
  3. I saw the Larkin goal on Twitter and was like..."huh? They play tonight" Yeah, I totally missed last night's game.
  4. This is Putin kinda stuff. We shut them off of any oil imports, starve their population and then says a "friendly takeover????" This has to be against every international law on the books. If it isn't, it should be. These people call themselves Christians? WTF is happening to America....
  5. No punts inside 50-yard line. If you get to the other side of the field you either have to go for it on 4th down to try for a FG. Not sure on this one... Guess I'll have to see it in play testing but I don't understand what problem this is trying to solve. Trying to make a game more exciting, would be my guess. We can call it the Dan Campbell rule...😅😅
  6. And just to expand on the pitchers who need TJ surgery? Teams should get an extra year of team control on these guys who are out for 12+ months.
  7. This does seem true. And it seems like most pitchers have it these days. A Yankee prospect was pitching against us last week and the Yes announcers were celebrating his ability to throw 100+ MPH. My reaction? "Has he had his TJ surgery yet?"
  8. Surgery planned yet? Internet doctors diagnosed Tommy John on the kid?
  9. The Phiilies announcers were joking yesterday that Hinch was on the hot seat for all the spring training losses. They said he looks nervous as the camera showed him relaxing in a chair to watch the game. They know his job is about as secure as any manager in baseball...😆😆
  10. Emails and phone records are recorded and stored on most Americans daily. Its why they have the huge data center out in Utah or New Mexico...Wired magazine reported this 15 or 20 years ago. My response has always been...I don't have anything to hide...go ahead...have at it. The people I worry about are the ones who DO complain about it. So...what does Kash have to hide? Russian communications?
  11. Free speech in America...either it's supported or censor every opinion that doesn't line up with the masses. Political and religion are hot topics that really bring out the ugly in many people. I don't agree with the guy on political views but I won't block him. Ignore most of the time maybe but blocking is only for people who really get on my nerves, like Negative Nancy in Lion game day threads. But that's just me, each and every member can do as they please.
  12. They have a purpose. I worked at a non-union shop for 30+ years. Promotions and raises were earned by dedication and hard work, not seniority. But it would have been nice to have gotten a union pension and retirement.
  13. That's very short sited. How much do you want? $200k? $500k? One surgery would wipe that out. We want medical insurance is a much better mantra. Trump is going to destroy Social Security and have it go broke much, much sooner that was predicted last year. Last year, they were forecasting SS to go broke around 2036. But with Trump deporting many of the workers who pay into it, and never collect it, he's destroying a vast amount of contributions to SS. 1 year of Trump in the books, 3 more to go. The democrats must reign him and his administration in.
  14. Man, these democrats figured out how to get things done. Just stoke that idiots ego and he'll open the floodgates with money. Go ahead and name the 15,000 housing units after the guy, they can always be re-named. 😅😅
  15. I have a friend who's a union worker. After payday, many of the substance abusers dont show up for a couple of days. Of course, the union protects their jobs.
  16. Actually, it's nice that he posts here, we get a chance to try and educate him. And it gives us a way to see how the distorted MAGA mind works, or tries to work...😅😅
  17. Are you accusing a private citizen of not telling the truth? Oh no...but it's not like she had papers removed to hide her involvement with Epstein. And it's not like she's an elected official, like Trump and most of the Trump administration perverts.
  18. I hear the Chinese EVs are light years ahead of what Americans are being offered and at a much smaller price. Yeah, the government subsidies their car companies and the labor is questionable but he tech is far advanced.
  19. No one, huh? That sounds like Trump when he says..."everyone says..." or "someone told me..." followed by complete BS. It's the voices in his head, lying to him. But since "no one is laying off" I guess we can ignore national statistics and ...just take your word for it..
  20. https://www.totalprosports.com/nfl/ufl-announces-significant-new-rule-changes-2026/
  21. Working on a change up? 🤔🤔
  22. The Tigers are known for their aggressive baserunning.
  23. The sound is horrible in this Orioles broadcast. Gets so quiet you can't hear it and then loud enoigh to (almost) wake up the cat.
  24. It's a team game. This young and improving team has gone to the playoffs 2 seasons in a row and we've improved our pitching, by a lot. Starting pitching and relief pitching. If some outsider doesn't see that, it just means his knowledge of this team is seriously lacking.
  25. The Tigers were near the top in MLB in going 1st to 3rd. Near the top in successfully taking an extra base. They take pride and work on their aggressive baserunning. I didn't read the article but if a writer is calling us a bad baserunning team because of our low stolen base number? Just another example of a misleading stat. Cherry picking the negative.
