Agreed. Of course, all of those quality players he drafted were the result of high draft picks from so much losing. And the Stafford trade. He had a lot of assets to work with. And while I agree he's had several misses recently,we can't complain. His roster is a winning franchise. The next couple of years will tell a lot, can he build around several very good players?

Not having a lead going into the 3rd means the Wings won't just keep dumping the puck and allow the opponent to just keep coming at them. I read that Carpenter is getting some time in LF with the hopes of giving Greene some games as DH so as not to wear him out. So if Carp starts in LF against RH pitchers, Perez would be a LH bat to start on RF? I dont know what Hinch will do but I do know the team that comes north isnt the final team.
