  1. Love it!! Out of likes but Love it!
  2. TORK....HR! Tork gave up on those CF blasts. 🤣🤣
  3. I couldn't agree more. The only giggling today is about....actual baseball chuckles. Refreshing.
  4. 2 outs and nobody on for Holton to come in and face 2 lefties. Both get on and he gives up a run...very unimpressive. But that's rare for him...well excuse him.....this time. 😑
  5. But it's also a coaching staff that takes these guys and develops them. Yes, they're talented players that Brad brings in but they're also coached up to get the most out of their talents.
  6. I was trying to find his minor league innings and all I could find was...like 91 innings or something. And it's still April and he's already at 20 ip? It's a long season...
  7. Distractions can destroy an NFL locker room. And fans screaming for a QB change never helps a team. I don't want that guy anywhere near Detroit. I think he would fit perfectly in Chicago. Every incomplete pass Caleb throws, fans would scream to put Samders in. 🤣🤣
  8. I went to the Fox News website and Trump's comment were on there. God, I need a shower. 🤮
  9. That's funny. I had a boss once who said he was gonna hire a former worker (troublemaker) just so he could fire him...lol
  10. No, it was Quinn. I remember now, he was invited to the draft and was kinda humiliated when he didn't go early. Good times....😅😅 "Coming into the draft Quinn was considered to be one of the top players in the country, and was invited to the draft. Before the draft started, Quinn was labeled as a "franchise quarterback in the mold of Carson Palmer."[20] He was projected to be picked in the top ten and even could have been the number one overall pick." https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brady_Quinn
  11. Who was that QB a few years back who looked shell shocked when he was passed up? Was it Brady Quinn?
  12. And forget about a Jamo extension?
  13. We used to sit in the parking lot drinking beer until the 4th or 5th inning of the first game. And then go into Tiger Stadium to see a game and a half. Good times, even if I ended up puking. 😅 It turned out to be a very pleasant night in Metro Detroit. Just enough rain to water my freshly mowed lawn. Perfect baseball weather...but...whatever.
  14. The storm quickly passed and I have a dryway. 😅
  15. A lot of extra rest for Jobe. Originally was to pitch tonight but the Tigers switched him and Mize so Jobe would go Saturday. Now he's going Monday instead. I wonder how many innings they want to limit him to? I don't think he's ever pitched 100 innings in the limited time he's been a pro. With Cobb coming back someday, I could see the Tigers holding Jobe to between 125-150 innings.
  16. #3 is actually going to be a big increase on car insurance. At least, for full coverage. His tarriffs are going to increase the price on car parts that are used for repairs. As for SS? People who rely on it for their only income already don't pay taxes on it. If there's other income, either 50% or 80% is considered income. But it still doesn't increase people's tax burden very much. But again, once he bankrupts the SS fund, people won't get benefits and....presto...no tax.
  17. Wow. Seeing this all at once hits home. I got about 1/2 way thru. The draft dodger also wanted a $6 million military parade for his birthday. Did that make this list?
  18. A few more of his promises that he repeated over and over. And weren't jokes, just outright lies;
  19. He repeated it over and over. At every campaign rally. He even said he would end it as a president-elect. He was not saying it in jest. It was one of him many, many unkept promises.
  20. It's getting really dark here, the wind is picking up and it's cooled off about 10⁰. The Detroit forecast for this evening;
  21. Well, it was a beautiful day today. 100% chance of rain at game time. The radar looks pretty ugly.
  22. That last pass was very meaningless. Half a second? No chance, even if it were caught. Maybe with 3 seconds but even then, nearly impossible. I think back on all the 3 point shots missed. Take 2 on a few of them and it's a victory.
  23. Yeah, I remember some talk about them needing pitching but not offering much in return. They do have several young good prospects but their lack of pitching, and pitching injuries, are destroying their 2025 season, so far. The pitching matchups this weekend heavily favors the Tigers. This has been a very successful home stand so far.
  24. Last trade deadline, they made ALL of their young players untouchable. They still made the playoffs but their lack of pitching did them in. I think maybe the Tigers had offered them Flaherty.
