Fanduel Sports had a good interview of Donnie Kelly. He talked about Leyland hitting him 2nd in a lineup in New York (Kelly hit a home run.) I remember saying the same thing Kelly did in the interview..."what was Leyland thinking, hitting Don Kelly 2nd?" 😅 I have a hard time rooting against former Tigers who i admire. While Kelly wasn't a regular, he was a valuable part of those Leyland teams. Donnie Baseball always came ready to play!

How about Carlos Santana?

Sometimes, after a big Tiger win, I go back and watch an exciting Tiger inning with the opposing feed. I know they're about to be bummed out and I get a perverse pleasure in that. 😅😅

He's only allowed to stay on a rehab assignment for so long. And Hinch says he only needs to build up his endurance before returning. IMO, it would be a mistake not allowing him to use one of his best pitches. And other former Tigers? Shelby Miller pitched the 9th inning for Arizona. He HAD a 1 run lead. He gave up 2 silo home runs to lose the game. We've seen that movie here in Detroit in 2024. A delay after it starts could ruin a Skubal start. Save Tarik for tomorrow and use a bullpen day. And if it's postponed, we could have a Skubal-Skenes match up in one of the games of a DH. That would be a hoot! 😆
