    This was in the Free Press this morning. I would never have guessed 3rd base, I woulda said CF; At third base, the Tigers are betting on Zach McKinstry and Andy Ibáñez, a platoon that has combined for just 12 home runs. It's their weakest offensive position, as Tigers third basemen rank 25th in MLB with a .647 OPS.

    Some games ya just have to tip your hat to a great pitching performance. Sanchez looks like a very strong contender for a Cy Young Award.

    I sure hope this little league game is over by 7:10. It's only the top of the 6th inning. Not sure how many innings these kids play.

    And they now have a very good closer. They may be a favorite to make it out of the NL to the WS. Playing in Philly sure is tough. Those crowds are kinda rough when they get going.

    Getting away from complaining about Will Vest, Scott Harris or the bullpen in general, let's discuss the over and under on Rileys strikeouts today against a really good LH pitcher. Does 2.5 sound about right?
