Im just saying, the players aren't blameless. Yes, Morton called a bad game but if the players executed the plays he called, we may have won. Terrible team loss, nobody is blameless.

Picking up the blitzes is something the players have been taught all their careers. How many penalties? 10? It's more on the players than the coaches but everyone is to blame. Until baseball has a salary cap, teams will continue to try to buy championships. Look at the same cities in football and baseball. Football teams like Green Bay and Pittsburgh can easily compete with the big market teams. Teams like the Pirates? Not so much. The Brewers were a playoff team because the were built from within and their players all developed together. (Lucky) But in baseball, the playing field needs to be leveled. At least, in my opinion.
