  1. I thought he was asking for 19 million?
  2. He isnt asking for free agent money. That would be between 30 and 40 million per.
  3. I agree that the Tigers made a huge mistake for lowballing him in arbitration. The guy is a top 5 pitcher in MLB, or better. He should be paid according. With the Valdez signing, I really see a trade coming but I'll be very pissed off at the Tigers. Al least keep him for '26 and get us onto a deep playoff run.
  4. Thanks. I dont care if I have to stream it but I'm not even sure if YouTube TV carries channel 20. But I do have an indoor antenna I bought to watch our local channel 7 (ABC) for Monday Night Football when YouTube and Disney were spatting. The antenna picked up a ton of local channels but it didnt have the better features like pause and FF. I guess I really dont wanna go back to the 1980's technology to watch baseball. Ans with the season quickly approaching, the Tigers need to let their fans know what's going to happen. Many older fans aren't real tech savvy.
  5. The Tigers pitching staff may be one of the best in the AL. Fetter has some high quality arms to work with. Harris signing 2 really good BP arms to go along with Vest gives us 3 pitchers who had 20+ saves last season. And we have about 7 or 8 pitchers who could start. Which is good because we probably used at least 8 starters last season.
  6. I would be surprised if Skubal loses in arbitration. Back to back Cy Young awards? Comp that, Detroit.
  7. My worry is the Tigers business plan is to trade Skubal if they lose. Having to pay Skubal what he's asking may not fit into their payroll. Players are overhead in sports. At least, for short sited owners.
  8. And while it never crossed my mind about any player but the outcome of the arbitration hearing really affects his value as trade stock. It just seems like if the Tigers win, he would get a bigger return in a trade? Not that I want that, I would prefer if the Tigers had the money to extend him. If not, i want to see an entire season of Skubal and Valdez
  9. It's also my first Tiger memory. It actually started my love of sports. I was 8 and it was like a whole new world nobody told me about.
  10. I used to get a UHF channel, I think it was in the 60', out of Canada , that occasionally had topless women movies on. And yes, it was all snowy and flickering. But a good imagination made it crystal clear. 😆
  11. If the Tigers main broadcast is MLB, will the games be live for people living in the Detroit market? Several other teams main broadcast last season was on MLB, I wonder if they could watch live games?
  12. How lomg is Edvinsson out for? The dreaded "lower body injury?"
  13. Mickey passed away on my birthday! Waking up to that ruins my entire day...
  14. Detroit elections weren't honest? Or is he lying? (Again)
  15. Slightly OT but a pretty cool story;
  16. Denver was 33-16. They're legit. Even with their injuries, they've been winning. But yeah, a 20 point lead went poof. They almost came all the way back.
  17. I hear Jenkins turned down a 2 year contract.
  18. Cade makes a 3 pointer for a 19 point lead at halftime and Blaha says "Man, these guys are playing like Champions." 😆😆
  19. Denver has a better road record than home record.
  20. Think about something...Donald Trump sues everyone and anyone who jokes or criticizes him. But the only peopke he hasn't brought lawsuits against? The 20 or so women who were kids when he raped them. Thats a very telling fact.
  21. Puppy Killer says her Gestapo agents will all wear body cameras, when funding for them becomes available. First off, there won't be any money for them (they'll say). Secondly, they don't say anything about turning them on/off. Who in their right mind would ever trust anything this lying.....woman...says? She's a proven liar...
  22. Its not only easier but it also gives a voter much more time and able to get more info about each candidate. I've been using mail in ballots for several years and I carefully look up each person before I vote for them. Mail in voting is fair, safe and more convenient, IMO.
