Yeah, I guess his defense, at third last year, appeared decent. I don’t know the advanced stats though. But his hitting wasn't all that great, I guess passable but we may see Javy starting against LH pitchers, IDK what Hinch has planned. I doubt the Tigers will carry Jung on the roster as just a backup for Tork. Maybe Keith will be Tork's backup? Who else for 1st base?

If he was hitting .500 and could catch the ball, he would still be in camp. A good example is McGonigle....he's on the verge of heading north with the big league club. Is HE ready? I mean, even Jung is still here and he doesn't even play a position of need.

Having a veteran QB in the QB room also has benefits over some raw rookie. Teddy may see things that a young guy would miss and actually help game planning. Or, maybe not, I really don't know, but it sounds good. 😆
