A team isn't built on 1st round picks. You need later round picks to actually build a quality team. Identify the talent and then coach it up. The Lions haven't done this in my lifetime. As for ruining kids lives? Yeah, all these current Hall of Famers haven't even won a playoff game. Stafford now has a chance once he got away from the worst run franchise in all of sports. And trading up is just what I think they will do this season to get the highest rated QB. Try to replace Matthew and prolly strike out. Never forget the Charlie Batch, Chuck Long and Andre Ware picks. It took us years to find an elite QB and we traded him away. Saying something positive for you to defend the Lions history for the last 60+ years. I will give you this. It's an incredible accomplishment being so bad, for so long. Almost impossible. Quite a streak.

Yes and yes. Future Hall of Fame QB (for 12 seasons?). Again, yes. And how many playoffs wins? A big fat ZERO. So go get 'em Matthew, make Detroit sorry. It took over 50 years but I'm finally rooting harder for a team other than Detroit....sigh.

True but only one team had the talent that didn't play to their ability. Baltimore played as bad as they could and still beat the Lions. They tried SO hard to give it away....

I wouldn't say the Lions actually played very well. The Ravens dropped at least 3 passes that would have led to scores. We got lucky and still lost.

The last I heard, at home tests weren't highly accurate. Not sure how much trust I would put in them. And, depending where you live, hospitals may be very crowded. I received an email last week from Beaumont telling me to expect extremely long waits in their ER. They even told me to go to an Urgent Care for things like stitches and the like. It's a real mess...I hope your daughter feels better soon.

This is the concern, Kids bringing it home to an unvaxxinated family. And a family member(s) getting very ill from it. I don't mean you or your family, just the ones not taking it seriously. But JHC, I'm glad my son is grown. I can't imagine the stress of him in school, unmasked and around anti-vaxxers. And getting a young kid vaccinated? Scary as he'll, IMO.
