    Shelby Miller blew 8 saves last season. Hinch just kept sending him out there. We could have been fighting for the division instead of hoping for the Twins to choke away a wildcard spot. Find a closer to even give us a chance. Starting pitchers are important but many of the games are decided by bullpens.

    Amazing. After last season, I never would have guessed it. I feel for Billups though, he may not be coaching much longer. Portland is struggling, again.

    Rewatching the game and props, big props, to Brock Wright for hustling after Gibbs on a big run he busted in the 4th quarter with 9:26 remaining. Gibbs fumbled at the end of the run and Brock showed some heads up play and hustle with his recovery. Pretty huge play.

    Right about now would be a very good time for the Tigers to make a splash. Get people excited about baseball before they spend all of their extra money on Lions gear. 😆

    I have loved NFL playoffs for many, many years. Having the Lions in them just adds to the excitement. Having the bye week is huge but it just prolongs the stress. I can't even imagine how hard that 2 week wait would be before the Super Bowl. At least with this wait, we have other games. Thanks for all the GDT. It increases the enjoyment. At least, mostly...🫣

    Guys in their mid-20's? Maybe normal guys but Hutch puts more pressure on the leg than "normal" guys do. I would worry about pulled muscles and such with a player who has had a 3 month layoff. Gotta be smart about it and think about his long term health.

    But this year he showed what he can do with good coaching and a better team behind him. Those dysfunctional Jet years shouldn't be held against him. Teams could do worse than to have him under center.

    Teams will look at his full body of work, not one or two weeks. Quarterbacks are in short supply, at least good ones. Put him on a good team and he's a winner. Jets should sign him....lol
