The last time we faced him, he struck out 12 in 6 innings. It was the game we struck out 19 times, September 23rd. The Tigers need to put the ball in play...

Another chance for Skubal to show he's a big-time pitcher. Somebody the Tigers can count on to come through in a big game. The Cleveland gameplan should be to try to get him to throw a lot of early inning pitches and get to our bullpen. Maybe bunt some more to see if he can field today. The Tigers gameplan should just to put the ball in play. Double digit strikeouts won't help us score many runs.

But they only give up sacks when they don't hold. 😅

They really do look bad. Their 2-1 record may end up 4-13. Full Tank Mode.

Cincinnati and KC are both going to be on short weeks when they play the Lions. If that matters....

The Reds really backed into a playoff spot. They lost game 162 but clinched the last wildcard spot when the Mets lost to Miami. They finished with identical records but the Reda must have had the tiebreaker. They get to play (lose) against the Dodgers.

I remember in 2006, we blew the division on the last weekend. It forced us to play the Yankees in a short series. That was the best thing that could happen, in hindsight.
