  1. Grrrrrr...ot losses are the worst. But at least we got a point.
  2. It's more like the dumbing down of America. I'm old enough to remember when schools used to teach the constitution in Civics classes, which changed to "Social Studies." The dumbing down of America began several generations ago in our schools and now we're paying the price of that ignorance.
  3. Donald has been talking for years about countries emptying their prisons and sending criminals to America. All with no proof, it was all fearmongering. But here he lets 1600 violent criminals out of prison and back on the streets. And I'm sure they've learned some new tricks in prison. MAGA really is a cult...
  4. But it's not just gas you would have to afford. How about bread at $7 a loaf, if you can get it? And many other food products that deported workers provide? There very well could be huge food shortages. Even to those of us who think we could afford it.
  5. A current wife providing an alibi for her husband? There's a serious credibility issue there.
  6. Lol....leave the red states to MAGA and let Trump bankrupt them. We're getting tired of the financial strains of supporting these backward folk anyway...
  7. I like hockey and could get used to curling;
  8. We provide our own natural gas? That's a relief. But if gas goes up, everything in the stores goes up. At least, that's their excuse when they jack up prices. But it's funny, when fuel prices go down, prices don't drop.
  9. I wonder what would cause more suffering, a 25% tarriff or a loss of energy sales? Living in Michigan, I fear being left cold and with no electricity because of that orange felon. Hurry up, midterms!!
  10. You found it and it didn't last long...and then you slept well. 🤣🤣
  11. What's this I'm hearing about the Canadian response to Trump's threat of tariffs? They're talking about shutting off energy to Michigan, New York and Minnesota starting in February? Checkmate....your move, Donald.
  12. Lol....it's only been a day. Hurry up, midterms.
  13. What Trump will lead us to;
  14. If he's under contract with the Lions, keep him. He was pretty highly regarded in college until he got hurt. Good backup while he's still signed.
  15. Darnold missed wide open receivers when he scrambled.
  16. To Chicago as a backup? Chicago is committed to Williams. 1-1 picks get multiple years to pass or fail.
  17. Johnson is going to need a very good QB coach on his staff. The whole world knows Williams holds the ball in the pocket longer than any QB in football.
  18. Ben was getting hammered on a thread on Reddit. But I don't care about stranger's opinions, I have my own. And it's basically what you said in this post. I appreciate what he did for our players and offense but it's going to be much different in Chicago. In Detroit, he had the players to execute his offensive plays, very good players. Even if they have 2 good drafts, the Bears would have to hit on multiple positions to get their talent level up and that's just on offense. I'm not sure how their salary cap situation is but again....unless they target the right players, that could set them back. I really would have thought the Bears would have wanted Glenn before Johnson. But whatever, see 'ya.
  19. No, but you can launder money with bitcoin. Big money.
  20. 1st half...Lions up 10-7. 3rd and 1. Interception. Run the ball....
  21. Yeah, we got hot after the trade deadline when we traded all the veteran players. Amazing. But we wouldn't have made the playoffs if the Twins hadn't fell off a cliff. It was a perfect storm.
  22. And I've been saying since last night that the Lions offensive game plan was very poor. Washington was 30th in the league defending the run. We should have run the ball, and then run the ball and then? Run the ball some more. Use the clock to limit our defense being exposed. But whatever, the season is history. Time to look forward.
  23. 1st half...Lions up 10-7, 3rd down and 1. Pass thown, intercepted. Run the ball against a weak run defense. And you answered your own question...why have a WR throw a pass? Especially Jaymo, who always makes questionable decisions? Run the ball...
  24. But the only reason Goff threw those picks is because those pass plays were called against a defense that can't stop the run. And Jaymo throwing into double coverage? Bad play call and design. Jaymo should never be allowed to throw a pass. His ability to make decisions is very questionable.
  25. Agreed. Knowing how bad Washington is against the run screams to keep the ball on the ground. And with our OL, Gibbs could have scored from any position on the field.
