    Strange stat of the day; The Tigers haven't won a Saturday game since April 26th. The best record in baseball and they haven't won in Saturday in almost 2 months

    Jason mentioned the Tampa pitcher who got hit with a foul ball in the dugout against Baltimore. Hunter Bigge. Pretty gruesome. 105 MPH liner to his face.

    Yeah, he's been pretty unlucky. But he's had very good swings and laces some balls. Eventually, those will fall in. I'm more concerned about Carpenter. He looks lost at the plate with some of those half swings.

    And Jason just said why so many games were home games for Tampa the first half of the season, the weather. Makes sense and I didn't even think of it. It's why the Texas Rangers never had day games.

    That's about the most vocal I've ever heard a Tigers crowd. At least, the most unhappy. Sitting thru a long game and going thru a rain delay? They used to stop serving beer in the 7th inning, didn't they? That vocal crowd reminded me of a White Sox crowd.

    So we gained a half game on Cleveland but lost a half of a game to KC and the Twins. I'll take it.
