  1. We're gonna lose Nido when Jake returns. He's out of options and prolly won't clear waivers.
  2. It's a gimmick. Free fries and sell $15 worth of other food. Arby's made money on that deal. 🤣🤣
  3. I'm glad I don't have to make that decision, it's why Hinch makes the big $$. My opinion is Javy to 3rd and Meadows in CF. And Dingler our primary catcher, with Jake as backup.
  4. Yeah, he was used pretty heavy in the last 2 games against Boston. 2 ip on Tuesday, 36 pitches and a 14 pitch Wednesday outing.
  5. Is Vest hurt? His stuff plays better as a closer. Brisket scares me.
  6. And KC losing 8-2 in the 8th inning.
  7. Can Meadows hit better than what we've gotten from 3rd base? Isn't our 3rd base production near the bottom of the league? This team would be better with a productive Javy playing 3rd base and Meadows bringing his defense in CF. Any production we get out of Meadows would be a bonus.
  8. This BP keeps things interesting;
  9. Yeah, he was on the pregame talking with Peaches about the bygone days of the Tigers/Toronto rivalry. Many classic games....
  10. He'll easily get 15 starts if he stays healthy. I'm not sure if he'll stick around for $20m though, especially if he ends up with a good ERA.
  11. Here's some of the details I've read; "His 2026 salary is $10,000,000, which could increase to $20,000,000 if he makes 15 starts in 2025. " https://www.mlb.com/press-release/press-release-tigers-sign-rhp-jack-flaherty-to-two-year-free-agent-contract
  12. There may be a lot of pressure on Jack. I don't know the exact details but there's something like a $10m bonus on next year's contract if he gets something like 15 starts this season. Like I said, I don't remember the article I read a few months ago.
  13. I'm not looking ahead but.....I'm looking ahead. Next up is a 3 game series in St. Louis. They're 9-1 in their last 10.
  14. I don't like the intrusion of her "interviews" while action is happening. I look forward to it being over and getting back to why I'm watching....for a baseball game.
  15. Buxton is a huge loss, if he's out for an extended period. They both walked off the field so hopefully that's a good sign....concussions in sports ...ugh.
  16. The Twins Buxton and Correa collided and both are in the MLB concussion protocol.
  17. I really don't see where he's a fit. Insurance in case of injury would be my only idea. Maybe a QB will go down in training camp, it's my only guess. Like you say, he would be a total distraction.
  18. The Orioles are SO bad, their announcers are calling for their ball boy to go to the All Star game. They're about to get swept in a 4 game series....at home.
  19. I've heard a lot of ex players, in every sport, say that knowing when to retire was their hardest decision. Their minds don't realize how much they've lost at an older age. Rodgers still had decent moments last season but his age really showed. I bet a team will sign him with the hopes that he has a little bit left. Even just to hold a clipboard and possibly be there in case of an injury.
  20. This says the Lions opened as the 1.5 favorite in GB; https://www.prideofdetroit.com/2025/5/14/24429402/detroit-lions-favorites-season-opener-packers-week-1-gambling-odds-2025
  21. Yeah, OK. Lions by 20. 🤣🤣
  22. Gain a game on both KC and Cleveland. Productive day...
