The Free Press "what to bet" blurb said to take the Tigers today. Something about the Tigers winning the last couple (few?) Mize home starts.
Edit; apparently, his last 4 home starts;
But we have a whole bunch of prospects who may help us win games in 2030. If they make MLB. And nobody knew we were going to need pitching. Except every single person who watches baseball.
The Lions with a new OC and a new DC. How deep into the 1st quarter before a certain poster calls for both of their heads?? 1st time our offense doesn't score? And the 1st time our defense gives up a first down?
With the coordinators changes and the OL changes, I see why the betting line has GB favored. Imagine the surprise when this Lion team is even better than last season...Lions roll...
This guy shut out the Phillies for 8 innings in his last start. He's only given up 2 runs in his last 20 ip. Our best chance is to drive his pitch count up. If I was a betting man, I would take the Mets.
This pitching match up favors the Mets, big time. McLean pitches deep into the game and seldom gives up runs. Long may pitch into the 4th or 5th inning.
The Lions are 35-9 in their last 44 games. This has to be the best stretch this team has ever had. And while I'm usually optimistic going into a new season, the last few years has been highly optimistic. Just...beat the Pack!!
No, he did a great job in the KC wins. It's just Sommers has now given up 6 runs in his last 7 innings. Forget lefty-righty match up, the guy is a AAA pitcher, at best
This. I've been scoreboard watching but mostly for Seattle, Houston and Toronto. After the trade deadline, I thought Seattle would take off. That hasn't been the case, yet.
