  1. And rebound. They were giving up way too many offensive rebounds the last couple of games. Or so it seemed...
  2. Basketball is exciting again! Huge win in NY. The Pistons are playing like a playoff team. Keep it up!!
  3. I don't think Ben will go anywhere until the Lions win a Super Bowl. At least....I hope.
  4. Idiots on sportscenter said Detroit plays late game Sunday. Wrong...it's on Saturday.
  5. Lions play Sunday? I thought i saw it was Saturday?
  6. Washington Commanders; America's team.
  7. I thought for sure the NFL was going to have a Lions-Stafford pt 3 game. There goes my favorite conspiracy theory. 😆
  8. Started and ended the season getting hammered by the Redskins. I remember it too well....
  9. Washington fans traveled to Tampa. Some Detroit ticket holders may be making some big money this week.
  10. He knocked a defender on his butt tonight, he sure is tough. Very inconsistent though.
  11. Finally a good, competitive game. And we know our opponent. What day/time?
  12. Washington is kinda impressive. That rookie QB won't be calling plays at the line of scrimmage at Ford Field though.
  13. Agreed. Vikings/Rams winner would play Philly, and hopefully beat them. But the Eagles, at home, weren't that impressive today. The Lions could beat them.
  14. 16 years between '68 and '84. It seemed like much longer at the time. But it's going on 41 years since '84. A lifetime...
  15. If the home teams win, the Lions will play LA and Philly will play Tampa? Stafford scares me, the Rams are pretty healthy now.
  16. And no matter how many teams the NFL put in for wildcard weekend, the games all suck. There hasn't been a single exciting game.
  17. How much did the Pack sign him for? $50 million per year for 4 years? They're screwed. 😅
  18. I say I want to play them. Simply for the reason is it would mean Philly has been eliminated. 😅
  19. Like I posted, it's a good strategy if you have a great defense. The Eagles have one of the best. And don't forget;
  20. Good post, looks like a lot of work. People who are for deferring think it's so good to get back to back possessions, at the end of the 2nd quarter and the start of the 3rd quarter. First off, it's rare to get the ball last in the 1st half. Secondly, it's even more rare to score on both such possessions. All game long, defenses are fighting to get a turnover, they want to get the ball. To just give up a possession seems illogical to me. But I guess it's just a matter of opinion. My opinion or just a wrong opinion. 🤣🤣
  21. I guess my dislike of deferring is because of the SOL days. The games they would defer, they would be down by multiple scores by halftime. It didn't matter if they got the ball 1st in the 2nd half if they were down by 28 points. And yes, I have said if you have a great defense, go ahead and defer. But with this Lions offense? I want the ball, score and play with a lead. At least get a few 1st downs and pin the other team deep with a great punt. And I'll always say, it's giving away a possession. Give up a score and you're playing from behind before you even get the ball. And just like this Bills-Broncos game, Buffalo didn't get the ball to end the 1st half, Denver got it. And drove into FG range (but missed it.)
  22. Buffalo defers and gives up a TD. But that's OK, they have a 10% chance of getting the ball back at the end of the 2nd quarter, with under a minute left. There's only so many possessions in a game, just give one away? I can't understand that logic....it's illogical. 😆
  23. And the Jets are looking in the couch cushions for extra change. I still say they should have drafted a QB last draft.
