  1. Buxton against Montero.
  2. Our pitching has already done enough to win this game.
  3. I just now realized this is a 4 game series. I'm looking for Skubal to get back on track tonight. He's struggled his last couple of outings...at least, by his high standards.
  4. And on Sunday, a talking TV head said this Tiger team wasn't equipped to win low scoring games. 2-1 and 1-0 wins since. 😅😅
  5. This announcer calls him baseball's #2 prospect? The good ones usually get here quick. Too soon? I would say so but he may give this Tigers team a jolt...
  6. Or at least playing for playoff position. Hopefully, Cleveland will be eliminated by the time we play the 3 games in Cleveland, 2nd to last series of the season.
  7. Seattle has to be watched now. They acquired talent at the deadline and have a deep line-up and good pitching. And Toronto is currently ahead of us.
  8. I read in this mornings Free Press that the Lions offense was having a hard time practicing because Hutch kept blowing up every play. He's gonna have a monster season. "Still, no one can block him in Allen Park right now. To the point that Dan Campbell had to amend a rule recently. If Hutchinson gets near Jared Goff and it looks like a sack, the play continues."
  9. I tried to vote once and they wanted too much personal information. Nope...
  10. When Vest went to 3 balls to that 2nd hitter, I was worried, concerned, nervous and scared. 🫣🫣
  11. I wouldn't mind seeing if Melton could pitch better than Flaherty is he went into the rotation. Use Jack in the bullpen. And maybe SGL for Morton?
  12. Series win with VERY limited offense.
  13. 9th inning Vest is really good, right?
  14. Dirks really said "Broom me up, Scotty." 😅😅
  15. I get ones in Spanish. Mucho confusingo.
  16. Unpopular opinion...hot dogs are gross.
  17. Any more Melton's down on the farm? Get 'em up here, stat!!
  18. So is the competition better now in AA? Hitters facing better pitching than in years past? All the more reason that they can make the jump. Yeah, you want them up here to play, not sit on the bench. And they do need a bit more experience at AA than our top prospects have gotten. Just give them a good long look next spring. And I still think we'll be calling up a youngster or two when the minor league season is over. Let them hang with us during a playoff run...
  19. Many players go from AA to MLB. I think it's too early for the Tigers better prospects but I've heard it said that the better players make it to the majors quickly.
