  1. The fix is in. Green Bay bum just laid the ball on the carpet. It looked like on purpose. Nobody knocked it out.
  2. And Matthew Stafford runs the 2 minute drill as well as any QB I've ever seen. Just totally in control...
  3. This is why we trade established (and expensive) players for prospects. Scott Harris building an organization that will keep producing talent;
  4. SOL thru history; the NFL will want the Minnesota -Detroit game to be big for ratings. They'll either make sure the Vikings win or Detroit loses. The NFL is a (big) business and businesses need to make money. Screw the Lions, they don't matter
  5. Since the Lions are going to a Super Bowl, nows our chance! https://www.costcotravel.com/Info/Promo-B?correlationId=8a32b2f4-3566-4f30-a39f-56c3cfacfe6a-0
  6. Sorry...messed up formatting. Anyway, my favorite Yankee fan comment;
  7. I like one of those other comments; My mom used to say he always hit home runs on Ladies Days...
  8. Yankee fans missing Torres already...🤣🤣🤣
  9. I agree. But the cost....
  10. He sure would look good in Honolulu Blue;
  11. The Lions-Vikings game has the potential to be the most meaningful game next week. Rams-Seattle may be for a playoff spot but I think only if the Rams lose this week. Hopefully, the Lions will have the division and the bye wrapped up Monday night. Go Packers!! (I need a shower)
  12. We have some kid pitchers in MILB who can give us innings for a fraction of that cost . Fans need to remember that this is a business and businesses are in business to....make money.
  13. Tork is one dimensional. He's only expected to hit for power. His base running and defense are below average. He had one job, knock in runs with a power bat. If he's not doing that, he's useless. You're not going to use him as a pinch runner or defensive replacement. Time to move on from him, I wish him luck.
  14. I've also heard from Yankee fans who are glad he's gone. Fielding errors are one thing but they complain about his mental mistakes (not covering 2nd base) and his base running mistakes. Those don't show up in the box score but could be losing games on occasion.
  15. But it doesn't really give Hinch much infield flexibility. Unless he moves Keith over to 1st or 3rd base? It really wasn't a position of need. I guess a bit surprising, more like he was available and more affordable than other positional free agents?
  16. Torres has signed to be our 2nd baseman. And if Keith's arm isn't strong enough for 3rd base, it will be between him and Tork for 1st base.
  17. "9:03am: It’s a one-year, $15MM deal, ESPN’s Jesse Rogers reports. Torres is expected to be Detroit’s primary second baseman." https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2024/12/tigers-sign-gleyber-torres.html
  18. The Tigers have needed a 3rd baseman ever since Harris took over and let Candelario walk. He got Vierling, a decent player but not All Star caliber. Another 2nd baseman in our system? Options around the infield? Maybe at 2nd base but we still need a RH bat for either 3rd base or RF. And SS is a question mark. We didn't sign Torres to fill a need, 2nd base was covered. We signed him because he was available. Let Hinch figure it out.
  19. Yeah, we only have 184 2nd basemen in our organization. Maybe find a LH OF bat next? SMH....sign Colt to a very long term contract and then sign another 2nd baseman. Move Keith to 1st base, I guess?
  20. Chicago scored a TD but it was called back for holding. SOB.
  21. The Giants say "hold my beer..."
  22. Any one of those 3 guys would be a huge improvement for the Bears. Vrabel makes the most sense, he's young enough and has had success. But isn't he more of a defensive coach? I think Johnson would probably be better for Caleb....IDK.
  23. Philly may not have an easy time against Dallas if Hurts can't play. He's in concussion protocol.
  24. The Bears saga...gotta feel sorry for their fans;
