Yeah, it worked out well. Use someone else and if they give up runs, you have 2 innings to catch up. But yeah, it doesn't matter, the Tigers were just rolling over at bat anyway.

All season long, I was hoping the Tigers would trade for some quality pitching. But with their recent offensive problems, back end pitchers really wouldn't help. We still need bullpen help but we need to find some consistent bats. Score more runs. The entire lineup is in a slump, just like most of the first 3/4 of 2024. Up until mid-August or so....people forget.

Young pitchers having arm/shoulder/elbow injuries are always concerning. Of course, it didn't hold back Skubal. But thru the years, pitchers injuries have ruined many careers.
