I agree. I thought for sure Jaymo would be a victim of the salary cap. The one player the Lions could sacrifice. Extend Branch and Hutch. And LaPorta should be an easy extension.

It's like...we don't care if we lose, as long as we find a pitcher who performs well against a last place team. Yeah, throw that same pitcher in New York next week against the Yankees and see what happens. It won't be pretty. But hey...our manager doesn't care if a AAA pitcher loses that game, right? I guess I don't see the logic in using Bailey Horn (who???) and Keider Montero in a game when there's a tight race to get a first round bye. It would be a shame if we end up tied with Toronto or a game back of Houston.

Fanduel Sports app is unwatchable on my Roku. The app works perfect on my phone. Football on the big screen, baseball on the phone. Opposite of what I wanted but...oh well.

Anyone else's video of the game messing up?

It's a bit confusing when there are multiple teams involved. A combination of 17 Tiger wins and Houston losses gets us a 1st round bye? Right now Toronto is 1/2 game ahead of us and they have the tiebreaker. So they're a game and half up. The division seems pretty safe, but yeah, having a bye and home field advantage would be nice. At least for the ALDS.

And then we play the Yankees, in NY. And they are also playing very good.

Yeah, I don't remember those. But I really don't want to take player emotions out of the game.
