    Troy Melton making his MLB debut for the Tigers Wednesday. In Toledo, he's pitched 36 innings and has 56 strikeouts. 14 strikeouts per 9 innings. That's kind of a lot.

    The secret to beating Pittsburgh when Skenes pitches is to make him throw a lot of pitches and then beat up on the Pirates bullpen. Pittsburgh may be 22 games under .500 but they're actually 2 games over .500 at home. A kinda strange stat...

    They're hard to watch when they don't pitch, play defense or score any runs. It's like....what's the point, just judge their uniform color choices?

    I was wondering why they changed starters. The new SP, Latz, has only gone 3 innings in his most recent starts. He'll throw 7 shutout innings against us. 😔😔

    Most of the injuries haven't been at practice, but on gameday. Last year was just a freaky amount of players going down.

    Riley swings from his heels. A very long swing. Sometimes he hits the ball and it goes a long ways. But he'll end up striking out around 200 times this year, IF he stays healthy.

    Home plate umpire gives a Texas hitter a 3-0 count to hit a home run. The Tigers need to beat the umpires, it's pretty obvious. Gambling money makes every bad call questionable. I sure used to like baseball, it's turned into Big Time Wrestling.
