  1. I'm in Minneapolis, but at this point in my life I throw about as well as a henway
  2. That's cool - I'll be attending
  3. I agree - trust Harris and Greenberg. On the Foul Territory podcast last eve, Cody said he spoke with several other gms and he got feedback from multiple people that Harris is difficult to deal with, too hard line. That is probably an area Harris needs to grow into.
  4. I agree, and he was in a 1-22 slump in the midst of the Det series. I might have gone as hi as Max Anderson, but not higher. I think odds are he will regress
  5. Steve Searcy is their pitching coach
  6. I've lived in Minneapolis for 25 years. The fans here loathe the Pohlad family. If this does lead to a change of ownership, fans be happy.
  7. The Padres went all in, wow
  8. Foul Territory is commenting on Morton, that he has been pitching well as of late, and that he pitched for Hinch in Houston, so AJ knows him well
  9. Did anyone pick up JV? He's been solid his last 2 starts
  10. Per Baltimore fans, they're mostly saying Morton has been solid the past 2-3 months. He has a lot of post season experience. And in his prime, one of the best breaking balls. I would have liked to see an added bat, but I do trust Harris.
  11. Per mlb.tv Cleveland said they are not offering up Kwan, and would have to be blown away with an offer. I would think that probably starts with Clark. I love Kwan, but I don't see Harris offering a "blow em away" trade.
  12. Cleveland already said they would only trade Kwan if they are blown away with an offer. Why would they trade him? They're not in a rebuild
  13. Paddack throws strikes. Right in Harris' wheelhouse
  14. Maybe Paddack can be their Milt Wilcox
  15. That interview with Mark Fidrych's wife and her grandson made my day
  16. Change of scenery definitely helping Andrew Vaughn so far. In 15 games with the Brewers he is hitting .375 with 5 HR and 21 RBI. Shelton-esque, or possibly legit? I remember AA was interested in him. Iirc he was drafted earlier than Riley Greene.
  17. Gleyber has been consistent with his approach all season. Even with the glut of middle infielders in the minors, I'd like to see him remain a Tiger. He's so young. He could remain an above average player for the next 5-6 years. I'd almost rather see Harris spend money that way, rather than 400+ on Skubal
  18. Maybe AJ is slowly going to stretch out Hurter to give him a shot as a starter
  19. I've read a half dozen places today that Detroit is still in on Suarez. BTW, x-rays from today are negative. He is in a 1-21 swoon. Historically he's been prone to long slumps. In fact, 2025 is the first time his ops has been. 800+ in 5 years. I'd think Max Anderson would likely be the headliner that Harris is offering. We'll find out soon.
  20. Yep, lead back to 9
  21. I'll guess George Mullin, Wild Bill Donovan were involved in 1910. Virgil Trucks, Hal Newhouser and Steve Gromek 1949
  22. Is Reese's injury related to rotator cuff?
  23. Just saw that. Very sad. Should have been in the WS vs the Tigers. RIP
  24. That pitch was almost middle middle
