  1. I was a teen when Mischief came out. Coming of age movie. Had a crush on Kelly after I saw it. She was also excellent of For the Love of the Game. RIP
  2. Fulmer DFA by Cubbies today. Cubs Designate Michael Fulmer For Assignment - MLB Trade Rumors https://share.google/EqEN9RB6oGkrby4Z4
  3. Love the movie, but haven't watched it since Kelly died. I agree, seems weird, and sad.
  4. He has been a key contributor since his call up. Good for Detroit and good for him!
  5. Not a surprise. I like that Harris is active and keeps searching. But it's still usually from the DFA pile. At some point he'll hopefully explore trades
  6. CBS released their updated rankings - McGonigle is up to #8 overall and Clark is at 10. That seems correct to me. McGonigle's bat to ball is truly elite Tigers Prospect Vaults to No. 1 After Breakout Campaign https://share.google/UzpjF1XnnsrUarkw5
  7. The Astros lost Bregman and Tucker, and Yordan is hurt with a negative war, and somehow they managed to improve. Impressive
  8. RIP Diego Seguí. I may still have your Seattle Pilots baseball card somewhere. Had a nice career
  9. Oakland pitching and defense played very well. I can see why they've had win streaks. Gotta get em tomorrow
  10. Career game for Wenceel!
  11. I miss the days when they'd show TWIB or something like that during the delay.
  12. I did too, but Boyd does tend to fade badly in the second half of a season. So far he has pitched well for the Cubs and I wish him well, except vs Detroit
  13. Walker Buehler gave up 5 in the 1st to LAA. ERA now well over 6. Hasn't found his stride after 2nd TJ. Nobody is giving Tarik 10 years. Way too much risk
  14. Per NY times, the Twins picked up Baldelli's option for 2026 today. Odd thing to do in the middle of such an inconsistent year, especially following last year's collapse.
  15. Jeimer made some good coin for someone who has year-long slumps
  16. Both of my personal lowest Det sports moments happened in Boston - 1987 and 2013 - a bird and a papi. Big Shot Bob's 3 in game 7 in SA in '05 is up there as well
  17. Twins are losing 7-0 in the 6th. They are flat-lining
  18. Jeimer dfa'd. Reds still owe him over 20 million, even if they buy him out after 2026. His ops+ this year is 11. I don't think I have ever seen it that low for anyone Reds Designate Jeimer Candelario For Assignment - MLB Trade Rumors https://share.google/BxvC3X152AjgF8iQJ
  19. The call was so perfect too - the Tigers march on to the world series! I've watched that at least 200 times over the years. Watching Polanco leap and wave as he lead Maggs around the bases. Always pumps me up!
  20. With those Pistons, for me, in game 5 Ben had a tip back slam that he timed perfectly over Shaq, and it was like the exclamation point in the 4th quarter
  21. Riley may be the best Tigers home grown outfielder since Mr. Kaline and Mr. Horton. He has a ways to go to be in Gibby's class, but his ceiling is higher because of his D. He also plays as hard as Gibby, which may result in a similar injury history. Looking back at his draft, it's close between Whitt, Greene and Corbin for top spot, imho
  22. Other than Skubal, I'd say Kahnle has been the Tigers most valuable pitcher. Definitely an all-star candidate. What a great signing, and there is a year 2 on the contract
  23. Riley had a hall of fame series. If Tucker gets 400 million, how far behind would Greene be? Has to be 300+
