  1. Incredible game. Still can't believe Carp caught that fly ball
  2. Took the apple tv free trial. Want to watch this one
  3. So it's not on mlb.tv? Bloody 'ell
  4. With AZ fall and 2025 WM, Briceno has 23 home runs in his last 231 at-bats https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=bricen003jos
  5. Take a gander at McGonigle's stat line at WM this year. The Tigers seem to have as many foundational pieces coming up to rival what happened in Motown in the late 70s and early 80s https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=mcgoni000kev
  6. He is an excellent defensive catcher and he'll have his spot. But I also think he can expect to step aside for a pinch hitter later in games due to his offense.
  7. Yuck. Easily could have lost 3 of 4
  8. AZ was down 10-4 to the Braves, then scored 7 in the 9th and won
  9. Rogers is hitting .118. He needs that message
  10. Kahnle was an incredible signing by Harris
  11. Thanks for sharing. You should consider writing a memoir. Your posts are often Paul Harvey-esque.
  12. McGonigle is locked in! It's been said many times, but dang, the Tigers farm system is loaded!
  13. If Toronto has a poor June and July, I can see them taking prospects. If they are in the wild card race, I believe they'll keep Bichette.
  14. Was an ugly game. Glad that Perez got safely into 2nd, and that Keith's bloop double fell perfectly. Luck matters in games like these
  15. My job is a county contract and it's part of huge budget cuts that can be traced to DOGE. Have to get my clients connected to other services by the end of June
  16. I'm smoking a victory stogie right now. Tigers win 8-5
  17. I miss the 70s and 80s, with the Gillette all-star ballots that needed to be hand punched. I'd torment over my votes for weeks. I think I have some that I never sent in
  18. Any news on Bryce Ranier's injury status yet?
  19. But again, Toronto is 1.5 games out of the wild card. Historically they've been more about trying to win now, than moving toward the future. And making that trade this year makes them worse this year.
  20. I like Sweeney. He plays with heart - that catch toward the end of an Orioles game last season was a pivotal moment for the team. He is coachable, humble and a positive clubhouse guy. I am beginning to have doubts he is a full-time starting SS at this level. Jung needs more AB's to find out what's there. Right now I don't think either is regarded around the league as a highly regarded prospect
  21. I've seen a documentary on it. He was set up. The "victim's" texts to a friend showed she targeted him, discussed his net worth, and even told her friend she would have him choke her. Bauer is a ****, but it sure looks like he got railroaded imho. Maybe after this ruling he will get another shot. He's been pitching on the Mexican league
  22. Toronto is 1.5 back of the WC. They threw out huge bids for several top free agents. I don't see them giving Bichette away cheap. Maybe if Sweeney, Jung and Anderson are included. Baddoo has no trade value. Bichette has received mvp votes 3 seasons. He has regressed, but is still only 27. I hope you guys are right. I highly doubt Toronto will sell from their current producers for prospects, unless the package is very strong. BTW Sweeney's ops+ is 74 and his war is negative. I don't think he has much trade value either.
  23. The horror......the horror.......
