  1. Greene is going to get hot again. He's been incredibly hot and cold all year. That will help. Now the bulllpen, that's another story. Maybe pitching chaos over time takes a toll? I miss senior smoke and Guillermo.
  2. Blue Jays just pounded out 63 hits in their 3 game series with the Rockies. That's the most hits in a 3 game series since 1900. Yowza!
  3. I agree. If Illitch did fire Harris, several teams would be in line to snatch him up. He has built a solid system
  4. Greene is overdue for a hot streak. Or so I hope
  5. AL truly is up for grabs. No team stands out. Harris was worried about trading a player who would come back to haunt the Tigers. Wonder if he thought that missing the playoffs might haunt the Tigers as well.
  6. Juan Soto hit the dinger. Cleveland hasn't had a no hitter in 45 years. Len Barker's perfect game?
  7. Home run by Mets breaks up the no-no
  8. If scores hold up, Cleveland will be 5 back in the L column
  9. Hi likelihood there will be a lockout in 2027. Might impact Skubal's decision
  10. Don't look now, Guardians are 6 back in the loss column
  11. I believe so. I believe Hernandez was the next to last. Senior Smoke and Bergman passed many years ago. Can't think of any other players off the top of my head.
  12. I swear I see Joe Coleman warming up the Bill Freehan in the field of dreams bullpen, while Rocky Colavito and Chet Lemon are tossing in the outfield.
  13. Thompson and Kemp were also favorites of mine back then
  14. Me too. Meyer and Leon Roberts.
  15. Dan Meyer was tearing it up
  16. Glad to see Morton pitched well. He could be a significant addition, especially given all of his post season experience
  17. I'm in Minneapolis, but at this point in my life I throw about as well as a henway
  18. That's cool - I'll be attending
  19. I agree - trust Harris and Greenberg. On the Foul Territory podcast last eve, Cody said he spoke with several other gms and he got feedback from multiple people that Harris is difficult to deal with, too hard line. That is probably an area Harris needs to grow into.
  20. I agree, and he was in a 1-22 slump in the midst of the Det series. I might have gone as hi as Max Anderson, but not higher. I think odds are he will regress
  21. Steve Searcy is their pitching coach
  22. I've lived in Minneapolis for 25 years. The fans here loathe the Pohlad family. If this does lead to a change of ownership, fans be happy.
  23. The Padres went all in, wow
  24. Foul Territory is commenting on Morton, that he has been pitching well as of late, and that he pitched for Hinch in Houston, so AJ knows him well
