  1. Here they go......time to break out of the slump! Crooked number!
  2. Gotta think Bochy is glad for that hit. Rocker is on pitch 85 in the 6th.
  3. Last week an online show (think it was woodward) commented that even if Detroit offers Skubal 50 mil per, 8/400, multiple teams will top the offer. Unless he shows any signs of decline, I just don't see him staying. The only wayI see it, is if the threat of a cba lockout nudges him to sign early. Still have '25 and '26 to enjoy him.
  4. Tigers no hits through 5. Rocker looking like an ace
  5. Might be Holton's best outing this year so far
  6. The Yankees and Mariners have also shown interest. Could bump up his trade value some
  7. During the 70s the all-star game was as big as Christmas for me. I remember Fidrych starting the game in '76. Leflore and Staub were also in that game. I agree that interleague play has taken away a lot of its luster
  8. I think we'll see the ABS by next season
  9. How about that AL Central! Buxton, Whitt and Kwan
  10. Suarez may have just broken his hand.
  11. I turned down disc golf for this
  12. 54 years is a long time. Maybe stop watching exhibition games
  13. Like with their 8th pick, their 11th rd pick was also projected much higher MLB Draft Tracker | MLB.com https://share.google/sQ7M7MUfBrM8aX4Xz
  14. Raleigh wins the derby, no surprise. That's the first one I have watched since Josh Hamilton had a crazy second round
  15. Riley seems to be the national face of the team https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1Bf21TYazo/?mibextid=D5vuiz
  16. I moved away from Michigan in 1990. Most of my friends are not Tigers fans. Most of those guys say the 1984 Tigers are amongst the greatest teams ever. The current system is very different, but imho just as exciting for the fans, including the farm and sustaining excellence
  17. When I first read that I saw Grayson Greiner. Wonder if he is still playing somewhere?
  18. A lot to like about the Tigers' present and future. I've posted this before - I also love their style of play, even more that the station to station, big bopper Miggy teams. The one thing I hear repeatedly from the players is how thorough AJ is with preparation. All the structural pieces seem to be in place. Now just get some pitching help so they can win it this year!
  19. More and more I believe that Holland can play a significant role on a championship team. So much upside. And Chaz seems like a smooth and steady guy. If he can play adequate D, he could be a good fit. He is a couple inches shorter, but with the very small sample size, his game looks a bit like Allan Houston to me.
  20. I don't see Harris as the overpaying type. They clearly need bullpen and SP help. Will be an interesting 2-3 weeks
  21. I didn't peak at any profiles. I will dive into the profiles of players drafted by the Tigers after it's over. Or not. Just glad they are no longer picking top 5
  22. When the Tigers signed him, Yankees forums were saying he gets tired as the season progresses and his pitches have less movement.
  23. Benetti mentioned the bullpen is 30th in whip. I had no idea they were that bad. With this sweep, I have to think Harris is on the horn for bullpen help. Yikes!
