Have you ever tried to restrain a person that doesn't want to be restrained? It can easily take 4+ people to finally get them into cuffs.

SWAT and other special operations type officers often wear masks to hide their identities. Funny thing, I don't remember anyone complaining about that. It's only when they started wearing masks to arrest people in the country illegally that people flipped out. Again, just a silly talking point being used by the people who are suddenly pro-illegal for whatever reason.

They didn't beat the guy unconscious or shoot him so it seems there was "some level of restraint". Are you just mad about the liberal comment so now you're going to nitpick every detail about this case? Question for you, should this guy that was arrested be removed from the country?

Well first of all, it was two officers initially. Is that acceptable to you of should the police have to face off 1v1 with a suspect when trying to get them into cuffs? Efficient would have been if the suspect placed his hands behind his back once being told he was under arrest. I get it though, it's his right to not only be here illegally with a deportation order and outstanding warrants, but to also fight law enforcement.

Hold up, what exactly do you think "targeted" means here? What is means is they have a name and are going to arrest that person specifically. That's exactly what they did here. I'm very curious to hear what you think "targeted" means.

What point are you even trying to make here? Are you saying this guy is in the country legally and doesn't have an order of removal and active warrants? What exactly does some other hypothetical mistake have to do with this case? You people just throw random ass gripes at the wall hoping one of them sticks.

So tell me, when a suspect starts resisting arrest and fights with the officers, what should they do?

So because a mistake might be made, the obvious solution is to just stop enforcing any immigration law? Also, not even sure what you consider a mistake but I'm willing to be that most of them are just a difference of opinion and not a blatant screw up.

The dude was fighting the officers, what exactly do you expect the officers to do, run away? Of course they're going to fight back and get the suspect into cuffs. Have you ever seen the video?

I'm also not going to do an even deeper dive into it, possibly finding court documents, just to have you then pivot to something else. The simple fact here is that this was obviously a targeted operation to take a known person into custody. If you want to keep on imagining this as going around snatching up the first brown person they see, I can't force you to accept the facts.

Funny thing, I just had jury duty a few weeks ago in Detroit. Inside the CJC, I saw more than one officer walking around in jeans and a t-shirt. Only thing that identified them as law enforcement was the badge clipped to their jeans. This whole left wing talking point about not knowing if they're actually police is just flat out stupid.

It takes a few minutes of your time to look up the relevant details. Don't ignore the facts and then try to use that against me. If you wanted to know the details, you'd know them. Once you finally take the time to learn them, you'll just pivot to something else.

You can also go on the internet and buy a police uniform and police car, no idea what your point is.

So watching the video, all of them are wearing a vest that says "police" and I can see at least one with a badge showing on their waistband. I'm going to assume the others had their badges displayed as I've seen plenty of other videos where that is the case. I keep hearing this same talking point from people and have no idea what it actually means. What are you expecting here, the police to be wearing a uniform resembling the Michigan State Police?

The guy is in the country illegally, was ordered deported last year, has missed several court dates and has active warrants. Just to clarify, you're upset by the comments from the officer and not the fact that this dude was arrested, correct?
