    My bigger fear is the last 6 games of the season. Tigers could be on the road facing two teams that have to win to lock up a playoff spot.

    Had to check ESPN to make sure my stream wasn't way behind. It's only the 6th.

    The poor Rockies still have 7 games left against both the Dodgers and Padres and have the 2nd toughest remaining schedule. Coincidentally, the Padres and Dodgers have the easiest remaining schedules, ranking 29th and 30th.

    We already covered that with Maeda, Manning and Kahnle. We're owed three good things now.

    I didn't even realize the Padres had knocked the Dodgers out of the division lead. They have series against each other this weekend and next. Should be fun.

    Verlander went straight from AA to the Majors and he was only at AA for the blink of an eye. If JV can do it, so can McGonigle!

    Looking at Kahnle's stats, the 46 innings he's pitched this season are the most of any season since 2019. He's only pitched more innings 3 times in his career and has averaged just over 38 innings per season. Seems to me he's hit the wall for the season and possibly his career.

    Cleveland will be in first place by September 1st. Tigers have a bunch of bad pitchers who over performed for a while before regressing to the norm.

    Looking at the radar, it'll probably be 45 minutes before this passes. Probably looking at 11pm before things finish up.

    Tigers really don't need to be losing this game.

    In my hypothetical, it would be one of the big market teams that just wants to get him on board a year earlier. I could still see a team going for a full season rental if they felt they were in a good position to make a run. Who knows, I'd just feel better about it if the Tigers could get something for him before losing him to free agency.
