  1. What? Looked like it caught the entire corner to me. 😗
  2. This might be a big game for the Tigers, but its even bigger for Flaherty. Dude needs to prove he's still capable of getting it done vs a good team.
  3. Tigers are 6-4 in their last 10. Twins, Guardians and Royals are 4-6 in their last 10. As long as their slumps are a bit worse than ours, I'll take it.
  4. He's making 20 million this year and still has two more guaranteed years at an average of 20 million per. Tigers dodged a cannon ball with that one.
  5. Use Gemini from Google, the free tier, and just ask it to create an image of whatever you want. It uses Imagen 3, widely considered the best AI image generator at the moment.
  6. Oh boy, now Hegseth is threatening to unleash active duty Marines on protesters.
  7. Just another boring, ordinary weekend in the USA.
  8. So Trump just took over the California National Guard as is deploying them against protesters.
  9. Garcia appeared in a Nashville court yesterday evening so I assume that's where this will go to trial. Nashville heavily favors Democrats.
  10. Is the DOJ going to threaten the jury or something?
  11. My understanding of things is that the employer is the cooperating witness so who knows what kind of deal he cut. Knowing these morons, they gave him immunity simply to help nail Garcia. But still, committing a crime simply because your employer told you to doesn't get you off the hook, especially if you did it dozens of times, as is alleged.
  12. Taking everything else out of the equation, does anyone actually believe that Abrgeo Garcia wasn't smuggling people into the country? Even if you only take the one trip we know about, there's absolutely no way you make a trip down to Texas, pick up 8 guys for your boss and bring them halfway across the country without knowing what's going on.
  13. The Rat King is inevitable.
  14. This felt like a playoff game. At least that's how my nerves were taking it.
  15. The Cubs third base coach really screwed the pooch on that one.
  16. I'm surprised they didn't keep quiet about the indictments, fly him back and then slap the cuffs on him at the airport in front of all the media coverage.
  17. That looks like a tie.
  18. Indictments are typically sealed so that the person being accused isn't aware they're about to be arrested. Kind of a moot point in this case. They could have announced this the day the grand jury came back with their decision and they chose not to for no good reason. Given the publicity of this case and the heat they had been taking, the logical thing would have been to announce it as soon as they knew he would be coming back to face trial. Obviously there was never a question as to whether or not El Salvador would return him.
  19. Well you explain then why they didn't announce this back on May 21st?
  20. They keep things on the shelf until needed as a distraction.
  21. Bondi was using the press conference to make accusations that aren't in the indictments. I'm sure Garcia's attorney is going to have a field day with that.
  22. Not sure I'd call it "finding something". Seems that it's something that should have been dealt with when he was pulled over in Tennessee with a full sized SUV packed full of migrants. They also say they have the dude who hired Garcia to smuggle people so it seems on the surface that they have a strong case.
  23. Bondi is speaking now. Come on press, ask her why she's hiding the Epstein files?
