Amazing that Charlie got out of that inning. If we could enjoy a combination of some sloppy fielding from the Phillies, a seeing eye hit and then a couple real hits, we might be able to get a lead.

This game is technically still winnable, but all along I thought if we won one of three that would be at least a moral victory. Sure would like to win it though and take the series but something surprising will have to happen.

Just as a note of interest, the Chicago White Sox are 10–4 since the All-Star break, winning series against the Pirates, Tampa Bay, Philadelphia, and the Angels.

Just to be safe because it’s so often an issue I checked all the driveway cams I could find in Philadelphia and I can safely say it’s not raining.
