Getting ready for my walk along the river today and I’m sitting on a bench in front of a candy store and Mr. Jelly Belly is a little too friendly but at least he doesn’t talk a blue streak. Have a good game fellow travelers.

I’m missing the entirety of this game tomorrow as it’s my day to walk with my pal along the Boise River. Then I’m eating a gluttonous meal of exquisite Vietnamese food, and consuming mass quantities of fluids to wash it down. By the time it’s over this game will have finished. I wish all of us well and all the luck we haven’t experienced for too long.

I gave up on this game and watched Jason Statham’s Wrath of Man instead. It’s not a particularly good movie, but it’s better than this game.

Pirates challenged (tag play), call on the field was overturned: Zach McKinstry flies into a double play. So we didn’t get a run.

Apparently, yes, they didn’t change it very quickly in the box score but they have since. That’s why I was scratching my head.

I think I know what the Tigers are doing. They’re trying to take us to the very precipice of despair so that after the trade deadline when they win 70% of their remaining games they’ll totally knock our socks off.
