Warsh has already been on the FOMC, and that voting committee are the ones setting rates. I don't see this guy as someone radical. Just another typical slimy bankster type that went to all the right schools and swam in the swamp of corruption known as the US banking system which qualifies him for one being the head ****.

More on Warsh. I've followed this guy for years, and he's always on the Fed stuff.

Trump Demanded a Fed Dove. But What Did He Get With Kevin Warsh? - Mish

Interesting stuff about Warsh wanting to unwind QT (reducing the Fed bond balance). Under Powell the Fed both ran up and then reduced the asset balance some recently, but the big run up from the QE during the pandemic is still on the books along with most of the run-up after the Bush crash - almost$6.5 trillion  in total.  Warsh could have the Fed give the appearance of being dovish on the discount rate, while a major bond sales program going at the same time could actually be contracting the money supply and driving interest rates everywhere but the Fed discount window up. I bet the banksters would love that because it would set them up for nice carry trade profits as they are the only ones the low Fed discount rate is available to.

I think what people need to understand is this really isn't different than it's ever been. This is a swamp creature bankster that any administration could have picked because he is an already a vetted and approved bankster, for the banksters, and picked by the banksters, because the banksters run this stuff anyway.

The rest is all BS.

People have short memories. The GFC of 2008/2009. Who do they pick to fix it? Timothy "weasel ****" Geither, Larry Summers, and a few more financial ghouls. Then Ben Bernanke and Janet Yellon, more swamp creatures. The fix was in on day one, and only got worse from there. The biggest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in history. Bailed out the banksters to the tune of trillions. Giddy ****in up.

And you think these wankin' ****in' banksters don't know how the fraud and corruption gets financed and moved? I'm guessing they do, cause it all has a paper trail. There are no ****ing laws and haven't been for a long time. It's a big club and we ain't in it.

The beatings will continue until morale is improved.

Bloomberg reporting that Elon wants to combine SpaceX and xAI - purportedly to tap SpaceX's equity value to fund development costs at  xAI. Not what I would want to hear if I were running NASA. 🤔

Oii, gold, silver, bitcoin all down. Warsh honeymoon is underway.

Fed Chair nominee appears in the latest Epstein file drop.

Doesn't look like anything bad, at least not yet. Just attending a few dinner parties.

A Fed Chair nominee would never have anything bad in his backgrlound.

Especially one who helps control the money and banking system. There is never only one cockroach.

Our entire system is controlled by cockroaches. But hey, the markets are at almost all time highs. Giddy up!

Didn't quite make the list.

Only two restaurants in Michigan that made it are Bavarian Inn and Zehnders.  Neither of which would rank in the top 100 best restaurants in Michigan, IMO.

Not even top 5 in Frankenmuth.  Except maybe Bavarian's more casual outdoor setting so you can watch the old folks Polka and hear the Glockenspiel.  I don't know if that's considered the restaurant or not, but we have eaten there, during 2020 Covid times.  Usually Tiffany's or T-Dubs for us.  We used to go to the Brewery but the food went downhill the last 2 times we were there and the beer novelty wore off for me.

Although they are indisputably the top two in Michigan in terms of sales.

I’ve been to 9 of these restaurants.  Joe’s Stone Crab being the best and Zehnder’s easily the worst.

I didn't watch the game.  But this seems accurate.

When I watch Pistons games, it's ambulance chasing lawyers, gambling, and weight loss.

I didn't care about the game but had it on. Kept forgetting to watch the adds so I missed quite a few.  One in particular I remember, I thought was quite creepy. It was a bunch of words on the screen as it changed colors. I kept thinking what the hell is this about. Turns out it was some sort of crypto add. WTF.

I think it's a combination of "it's a tourist thing, and we ate there when I was young..."

I agree, neither of the above is my must go to's. Then again I've been there, done that, bought the Xmas ornament,

Much like places here that get a lot of social media recommendations. They are OK, not great. I include the Colonial Williamsburg Taverns as well as the hotel, The taverns (Kings Arms and Christiana Campbells) are for the novelty, the food is good but not great. The couple of times we've dined at the Hotel, I found the food to be mediocre, but it's also buffet style. There are several places nearby that I prefer.

I'm old enough to remember when gambling was bad because criminals ran it.

We were only in Miami two nights.  We did the Rusty Pelican and it was pretty good.  Next night we went to Mirabella because it was in our hotel, and it was excellent.  My partners favorite restaurant in Miami is Joe's, so it must be good.

Think I have been to all the Gibson properties except The Boathouse.  They are all excellent, but LUXBAR might be my favorite.  A little more relaxed, more my speed.  Chicago is such a great city for food.

The one I'm seeing people talk about today is the commercial for the Ring Doorball Cam.  If you lose your dog/pet, upload a picture of it in the app, then it scans all of your neighbors Ring Cams looking for your dog.  I'm sure you have to opt in to let them use your camera, but **** that.
