That's a clear penalty and Branch needs to do better... and CAN do better too. Looking at it again today you might be right. The hit itself was legal as he was still inbounds and not going out. That was what I was saying. Quote

He was definitely in bounds so if they were going to flag him for a late hit it would have been a crap call. But flagged for leading with his helmet was the right call. 1 Quote

I’m not sure how they could have charged him after the police let their sole piece of evidence drive away with the guy they’re now trying to charge. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 Bout time Williams actually gets some good news, not excusing his behavior but it feels like it's been nothing but bad news for him since he came into the league. Quote

There's actually been some good news re: Jamo, it's just mostly stuff that doesn't get major traction. Now, I absolutely feel like Jamo has some maturing to do, both on the field and off, but he hasn't been all "party animal" and stupid 20-year old actions. Free Youth Football Camp Hands out Turkey's and Signed Footballs to Needy Families Hands out $100 to kids selling water and give free Thanksgiving meals with Detroit Police This is why I'm not nearly as worried with Jamo as I might be with other players who show immaturity. Certainly you've got a kid who gambles and doesn't know the full rules (even if the rule is stupid, it's still a rule), isn't following substance rules properly, does a dumb dive into the endzone, is out super late at night with guns in the car. But then you also have a guy who clearly cares about the fans, wants to help in the community, blocks like crazy on the field. So there's plenty of good there too. Quote
