I am just a little leery about travel now, but there is a non-zero chance ICE might target me because they think I look like an Iranian.  I am not REALLY worried about it, but I believe the chances of that happening, however small they may be, are at least as big as my being attacked by an undocumented immigrant.

None of the seats were expected to flip. Generally these seats are vacated because they are safe seats. We saw this in the lead up to 2018 when there was a blue wave. This time the margins are even more in favor of Democrats.

I know you like to watch the margins but I remain unimpressed, until someone actually wins something unexpected.  It's not a parliamentary system, bigger minorities don't do you any good at all.

No political observer of any skill predicts anything but a huge blue wave.  It is now an obsession to fill all the elections with candidates who can take advantage.

It's a foreshadowing to when more competitive districts are up for grabs. It's what we saw in the lead up to 2018. Dems were never going to win Florida HD-03 that Trump won by 55. They cut that margin to 34 which similar cuts across the state would mean a lot of districts flipping.

Stevens and Levin decided to fight it out in the safe MI-11. We had a chance to end John James political career once and for all and blew it.

with regard to orderly homicides,  as the 2022 numbers, the suicide rate in AR (18/100K) is 70% higher than in CA (10.5/100K. That's the thing about MAGA, they are basically unhappy, but demand that you live like them, so you can be just as unhappy.
