Saying the quiet part out loud

Telling us exactly what he was going to do was the thing we should have been reminding each other of whenever Trump and his cabal accused Biden of weaponizing the government against "conservatives".

seeing reference to Trump demanding the nuclear codes on Saturday night and Gen Caine stopping him.

Can someone find a source to that?

I saw reporting that indicated this was debunked.  I feel like if there was any truth to it, it would be all over the news right now.

Jon Stewart finally understands the 3d, 4d, and even 5d chess Trump plays while everyone else is playing checkers. He apologizes to Trump as well.

There has been a lot of reporting lately on how unhinged he was after the first plane went down.  Sounds like Caine made sure Trump would only get updates and not be involved in any decisions related to the mission.  This might just be a continuation of that with Trump, but I suspect it wasn't related to the nuclear codes unless it was something real general, like Trump saying 'you know I would send nukes, they need to know that'.  I mean, that's crazy too, but not to the point of what was reported.

Now the real fun begins. This will probably go the courts. Which in a perfect world should affect Texas, Florida and other Republican states who did redistricting for mid terms at Trump's bidding.

Everything he touches

It was originally reported by a guy named Larry Johnson. Ex-CIA. Nobody believes CIA people.

The new 10-1 Congressional map in Virginia might be Trump's biggest self own yet. He's had a lot of self owns, but this one is his perhaps his biggest. He brought this on himself when he demanded that Texas and others states prematurely redraw their district maps for Congress to give Republicans more seats. This is a big time win for Democrats ahead of the midterms.

For the record, this is bull**** and it shouldn't be this way at all, I'm any state. All states should fair maps, drawn by independent redistricting commissions. But until Republican states agree to do independent redistricting commissions in their states or until national legislation is passed, this needed to be done in Virginia to help balance out Trump's intentional power grab.

I hate gerrymandering as well and would love for some national consensus to emerge on the subject. But absent that, it's not clear to me why it should be the expectation that one side shoulder the responsibility for shunning the practice while it is assumed that the other side is just gonna do whatever they want and gerrymandering like crazy. After all, that is how this started, an unprecedented mid-decade redistricting in Texas.

The other thing I would say... As a current resident of a Dem gerrymandered state (IL), the complaints from last night by VA Rs are nothing new. However, during the last redistricting cycle, the GOP in the state I used to live in (TX) took a meat axe to the only competitive State Senate district in the state (centered around Fort Worth and Arlington) and drew it to be about 25 points more Republican, with completely illogical borders. Essentially drew my State Senator at the time out of existence.

Until the party comes out in favor of some national consensus on how to draw lines, my assumption is that they're all fine with Texas doing it, or Florida or North Carolina, and only give a **** when it affects them. I'll have more sympathy when they start to shun the practice altogether

Yep.  play the game as it's played by the opposition not how you think it should be played.
