Did you have your subordinate double down on it for you or did you correct your mistake? How did you make that mistake, by the way, i can see someone going in the opposite direction and mistakenly calling it a 5,900% decrease. I would also guess that Trump did not use a spreadsheet! Which in a perfect world should affect Texas, Florida and other Republican states who did redistricting for mid terms at Trump's bidding. Everything he touches Do you not think this particular Court could parse the D state redistrictings and kill them off from the R state redistrictings and uphold only those? I'm not predicting they're going to do that for sure, but I will say I think they could totally do that, especially on then shadow docket, which doesn't even require shared reasoning, never mind constitutional consistency. He's had a lot of self owns, but this one is his perhaps his biggest. He brought this on himself when he demanded that Texas and others states prematurely redraw their district maps for Congress to give Republicans more seats. This is a big time win for Democrats ahead of the midterms. For the record, this is bull**** and it shouldn't be this way at all, I'm any state. All states should fair maps, drawn by independent redistricting commissions. But until Republican states agree to do independent redistricting commissions in their states or until national legislation is passed, this needed to be done in Virginia to help balance out Trump's intentional power grab. Again, out of thanks but THANK YOU. Quote

I'm not predicting they're going to do that for sure, but I will say I think they could totally do that, especially on then shadow docket, which doesn't even require shared reasoning, never mind constitutional consistency. The basic question comes down to whether the process was valid. A lower court ruled it was invalid. The Supreme Court allowed the referendum to go to a vote while they deliberated. The decision comes down to whether the General Assembly acted within the state constitution in redrawing the maps and whether redrawing the maps mid decade was allowed. The fact they fast tracked the review and allowed the vote to continue might be telling... Who knows Incidentally, in 2020 voters approved a constitutional amendment requiring redistricting maps be drawn by an "Independent Commission" (similar to Michigan ???). The commission was to be made up of legislators and private citizens from both parties. The Independent Commission could not agree on a compromise map. The State Constitution then required the State Supreme Court to appoint an Independent Special Masters group to draw the maps that are the current maps (before yesterday). The map we just voted on was drawn by the state legislature. The question is did the legislature overstep their constitutional rights. The state court could have stopped the stopped the vote, now they have to decide... Edited 14 hours ago by CMRivdogs Quote

The regime wants women to be second class citizens, that must sing from the balcony and always walk a few paces behind. 1 Quote
